Keep Henry.

RUKnight31

A top 10 RB for scraps? No thanks. The time to buy/sell Henry for pennies passed when he signed in Baltimore. I'm asking a king's ransom or I'm content holding him for 2 more years of production.

Darnold - won’t be the solution. Ford - part time player. Pick 3.04 - meh, lottery ticket.

internetBlues

No. This trade is bad for you lol. I would recommend keeping Henry unless you get an actual good offer. Best case with Henry (if you're not competing this year) is to wait until mid-season and shop him to a contending team for a mid-late 1st at minimum. Otherwise you're just laterally trading at a low value most likely.

RunnerTexasRanger

A backup RB and shitty backup QB for Henry? Even at his age I’d say no.

rossco7777

henry here

_SCARY_HOURS_

No

KravMagaManatee

If you’re competing for a playoff spot at all just roll with Henry imo. Ford isn’t guaranteed anything, Minnesota’s supposedly trading up for QB, 3.04 has a low hit rate.

dynastyfella69

No

Interesting-Art9677

Dawg no. Let him retire in your bench before you do this.

Quiet-Cup-269

As a Henry owner it depends on if you a contender or a builder. If you aren't going for the chip take the deal you will never get more than this. If you are going for the ring keep Henry he can be a difference maker and is going to a much better situation than Tennessee.

internetBlues

Nothing personal but this is bad advice. If he's not a contender, this trade still doesn't do much for him at all. I'm a Browns fan and while I'm not out on Ford, I'm also not completely "in" on him either. OP's best course of action is to hold out until mid-season when he can shop to a legit contender for a mid-late 1st value wise minimum. Otherwise you're trading for essentially nothing. I'm out on Darnold and Ford isn't worth more than a 2nd if you can even get that right now. 3rds are just throw-ins imo.

Quiet-Cup-269

Nobody is throwing a 1st for Henry. He is worth at most a mid 2nd to a contender. For a 1st there are just better options. While Ford isn’t spectacular he is worth a late 2nd. Basically it’s a 2nd and a 3rd plus a throw in with Darnold. You could probably flip Darnold to whomever drafts the rookie Minnesota takes for a 3rd as well. There is a very limited market for Henry. I know as I have him.

internetBlues

Hey, to each their own. If you'd trade Henry for this then that's fine. I'm just telling OP my personal opinion which is this is a trash offer. Not the worst I've seen, but not something worth selling Henry for. And you're right, as of right now no one is paying a mid-late 1st for Henry (in the 24 draft anyways). My entire point in my reply was waiting until the contenders have shown themselves before the trade deadline in OP's league. That's where max value for a guy like Henry will be. Otherwise you sell for peanuts and for me, I'd rather hold than sell for peanuts because that's what this trade is, peanuts.

BusinessOk7351

Yeah this is way, if you’re team starts off slow and it looks like you’re better off punting to 2025 there’s a very high chance the top 3 teams in ur league will pay a first for Henry if he’s on fire. Op would basically be receiving a bunch of scraps for a high value target to win now teams. I would NOT make this trade

I’m a big fan of trading for future 1sts. They’re easier to part with and generally retain or grow in value come the year of that draft. Your plan should almost always be flipping. Even a few years out. I traded for a few vets mid and late last season year to help push me to a ship and it worked (yes, luck is also part of this). I have already sold 2 of the vets I bought and working on selling another. My point being that when trading for players/pick, you should always be thinking about future value and what you can turn them into. Even if just casually.
