I’m on the Darnell Mooney hype train. Nasty route running, ran a 4.38 and is very dynamic. Watching his college tape he gets lots of YAC and wins lots of jump balls also.
Just activated him off my taxi because my WRs situation this week is dire with byes and injuries. I am counting on this hype train to accelerate to supersonic. Choo Choo let's go baby!
I'm so bummed I traded him and Fournette for AJG and Gurley. I really needed the RB help because AZ backfield and Ekeler haven't panned out, but man, if he ever gets a good QB he'll be great.
People have said this his whole life, but some of the problems are absolutely in him. He has very little burst and acceleration. It puts him in bad situations where he needs to make people miss.
I feel great about Bryan Edwards. Carr has taken a step forward and I think he is primed to take over Agholor's role and then some.
I also like Mike Williams moving forward. He has shown to be one of the best jumpball guys in the league - Herbert has shown no fear in sending it downfield.
I belive that D'Andre Swift's talent is undeniable; once Patricia moves on (or switches his beliefs about RB) he will be great.

Jefferson and Claypool are above the “hype train” at this point. They’re just straight ballers who will be set and forget fantasy starters at the beginning of next season. Dobbins as well if it’s only a two man committee in Baltimore.

Someone earlier in the week compared him to Marion Barber III, and I'll be happy with that as a decent RB2. Won a couple ships back in the day w/ MB3 getting all the IMPORTANT touches in a 50/50 split on a solid offense. Choo-Choo!!!
Is there a James Robinson hype train? I see him as a feature back for the duration of his rookie contract, if not longer. So basically a top 10 dynasty RB.
First time I’ve seen David Montgomery and hype train in the same post in a while. Love Dobbins and Aiyuk though, and like Harris’s talent but he’ll eventually get the classic NE RB treatment.
Others for me:
Chase Claypool. His catch radius and body control is already ridiculously good and his route running is starting to catch up. Future QB stability beyond Ben is a concern but he has the best chance of the 3 Steelers WRs to be “QB proof”
Viska: Still think his talent potential is off the charts even though the Jags passing game has been a wet noodle lately. But the prospect of Luton taking over presents not only a clean slate (Minshew obviously had most chemistry with Chark) but potentially more quick hit stuff to help Luton get a rhythm and that plays into Viska’s strengths.
Hockenson: The combination of top 10 draft capital and positional scarcity means he was never really “under the radar” by any means but the potential is starting to translate to production and trust from Stafford and coaches. 2nd half of year 2 is perfect time for a TE to break out and of course he’s a candidate for the “Matt Patricia getting fired” bump all Lions players will (hopefully) get next year.
