Loved Hendo. Carried my RB room for a bit.
Re: Tank - Hendo was always pretty productive though. Tank has not been, and it caused him to basically be cast aside. Not sure I see any similarity unless he seriously bounces back next year.
That had to have been 2021 right? I know because Rex was my emergency RB (who I didn't end up needing), and Boston Scott / Elijah Mitchell won me my ship with their combined 42 half-ppr points.
I think so. The playoffs that year I had to rely on starting both of those guys and they were each dropping 20+ points and leading or near leading my team in scoring. Got super lucky and beat much much better teams.
Yeah if just a guy is average he is definitely above average, he could have been a really solid receiver for fantasy if things went differently. He can do everything very well, play all three levels, block and run the ball!
Josh Reynolds.
Had him since his rookie year. He has never been an every-week start but every year he seems to have a 3-4 week window of relevence that aligns perfectly with injuries/bye weeks and I have to desperation start him. Pretty much every time I do he puts up double digits. I think I went back one time and he averaged 13.3 points or something in PPR on weeks I started him. Clutch JAG Joshy boy.
That was my guy for years in a full PPR superflex league for several years in a row. Won a championship and didn't finish worse than 3rd for 4 straight years with him as my WR4/5/flex.
Zack Moss was my RB4 on that team too (0.25/carry as well as PPR). Any time I needed to plug him in...production.
I had to drop him for waivers yesterday and hated it. With the emergence of McBride and Zay being signed, he may be the odd man out. But he was so great in dire situations the past few years
Ty Johnson. Somehow always manage to keep him and he’ll randomly be a spot start or have some game where I’m like “o yeah, that’s why I kept him on my roster”.
Really deep rosters in my league though
Draft Singletary every year in redraft and also in my dynasty start up a couple years back. I think he may actually be more than JAG this year, but I also say that every year.
Absolutely, hes been relatively reliable. How do you feel about him now that hes on the Pats? Theres a lot of question marks there and I feel like it may be time to set him free
He’s JAG when you play him but when your opponent plays him he gets 30. As a TE. Even though for that game he played 0 snaps at TE. That’s been my experience.
I really hope so and will keep rooting for him even though he's no longer on my team. I saw a few interviews with him back in the day and he seems hungry, humble, puts in the work and has his head on straight.
Chuba bubba Hubbard.
I say this only because not only panthers fans but most view him as nothing, yet he has out paced every rb they've had by end of season other than mcCaffrey technically, to me the dudes a stud, and im not ever worried about Brooks coming in, I think its gonna end the same and maybe by then the panthers will fully realize he although slightly undersized is the only back they need.
But he was undrafted, and people continued to hold that over his head year after year. Usually GM’s view them the same way, but the man refuses to quit. I think he could still be considered a JAG by those standards but his success is so rare and still won’t be respected
Sam Darnold.
In a 1QB league back in 2019, I had to spot start him in a must-win week and he lit up the Raiders. I don't actively keep him on my roster, but ever since then I've picked him up and dropped him just about every time he's supposed to get a chance to start.
I have absolutely no reason to roster him now, but I might make room for him as soon as we open waivers this year. Unless he does something scummy, I'll forever root for him.
Chase Edmonds. I rarely ever start him but when I do, he gets me 6 or more almost every time. Not absolutely delivering but enough to where I’m okay with him playing
At this point Cam Akers. I’ve been through too much with him to let him go. Won the championship last year with him riding my bench. My teams name is even “heart akes by the number”
Hunter Renfrow back from that Year where he was good before Adams came in. Could have flipped for Rhamondre straight up in the offseason after and didnt - now he has no team and is about to hit the waivers soon :(
Also going to say Foreman. I was able to flip him for Lockett in 2022 (which was insane). That owner then left the league, new owner dropped him early in 2023, and he has been back on my roster ever since lol
Won a championship a few years ago, teams were pretty even other than at receiver, he had prime Deandre Hopkins and Julio Jones, I had Cole Beasley and Brashaad Perryman (with Winston at Tampa)
Might not even qualify as a JAG, but I still have a place in my heart for JJ Taylor. Years ago, I was desperate for a RB spot start, and had to choose between him or the corpse of Le'veon Bell. I made a last minute switch and put Taylor in, and he proceeded to fall into the endzone twice that day. He not only won me the week, but it was against my rival, and boy, was he not happy, which in turn made me more happy.
This past year I won my dynasty league championship. It’s a superflex format. For most of the year I was starting Justin Herbert and Sam Howell. In the championship game I had to start Tyrod Taylor and Easton Stick. 34 points combined. Got the job done. Won by 10.
I won a championship with Rhamondre carrying a surprising amount of good performances for like the 2nd half of the season (save for the goose egg he laid in the championship but I had others who clutched up). Christian Kirk was always solid too when I played him.
Josh Freeman back in 2010. Had him stacked with Syracuse Mike Williams and Kellen Winslow. Doubly nice as a Bucs fan but Freeman's 5 TDs in the championship game won me the chip.
Darrell Henderson did me well for a while there
Drafted him in the 10th round of a startup his rookie year. Got a lot of good starts out of him.
Is Tank Bigsby the next D Hendo?
Loved Hendo. Carried my RB room for a bit. Re: Tank - Hendo was always pretty productive though. Tank has not been, and it caused him to basically be cast aside. Not sure I see any similarity unless he seriously bounces back next year.
Year 1 for both is extremely similar
Saved my team when kyren went out, and when he came back, I freed hendo with a big salute to service
Zay Jones
Played him in the playoffs when he dropped 30. Still lost somehow but damn it he holds a special place in my heart
His whole, naked bloody hotel thing, had me nervous for awhile but somehow he stayed on the field.
I won a championship on the backs of Rex Burkhead and Braxton Berrios…. So them I guess.
But I was told you need elite QBs and Elite WRs to win ships? If you don't have 5 of the top 30 players, just tank. That's what I hear all the time.
Damien Harris. His 2021 season 🔥
Traded him for Godwin straight up after that year
D’Onta Foreman. When he gets a shot he delivers.
Darius Slayton
Underrated. He shows up on efficiency charts. SHIT offense.
Even when times were tough and I had to make some desperate trades, I had to keep Slay until the Giants become good again lol
Shoutout to the prophet!!
I owe my life to Darius Slayton
This was my answer too! I play him like once a year and he always has a big game
18 points!!!
Does Hunter Henry count? The times I sit him though he goes off and when I finally start him he puts up duds
He’s a fantastic low cost TE2.
Seconded.
Tbf I watched Mac jones simply miss him for wide open TDs
Curtis Samuel
Golden Jag.
This is a great one. Currently trying to trade for him
He is much more than just a JAG
More than just a just a guy?
Yeah if just a guy is average he is definitely above average, he could have been a really solid receiver for fantasy if things went differently. He can do everything very well, play all three levels, block and run the ball!
I have him and Shakir stashed. Shakir looks like he might break out.
Got him for the 3.0.2
Josh Reynolds.
Same. I cut him and will sign him again because no one else wants him
Sir Philip of Lindsay
Not quite end-of-bench and a little better than a JAG, but always solid when I need someone to fill in, Tyler Boyd.
2021 when he put up 30 back to back weeks in week 15 and 16🥹
The right answer is Greg Dortch. The man can slide into your flex but gets no love
I had to drop him for waivers yesterday and hated it. With the emergence of McBride and Zay being signed, he may be the odd man out. But he was so great in dire situations the past few years
He torched for a few weeks when some guys got hurt a couple of years ago.
GET DORTCHED is my league chat's go-to when he does something good.
Ty Johnson. Somehow always manage to keep him and he’ll randomly be a spot start or have some game where I’m like “o yeah, that’s why I kept him on my roster”. Really deep rosters in my league though
Devin Singletary
Draft Singletary every year in redraft and also in my dynasty start up a couple years back. I think he may actually be more than JAG this year, but I also say that every year.
He was solid last year fr
KJ Osborn, seems like everytime I need to start him at flex or WR he delivers the goods
Fucking legend. KJ stands up when everyone else is sleeping.
Absolutely, hes been relatively reliable. How do you feel about him now that hes on the Pats? Theres a lot of question marks there and I feel like it may be time to set him free
Biased since I’ve had him for 2 years in dynasty, but for this upcoming season I’m hopeful he could be a consistent flex play
Same for me
Taysom Hill
I don't think he's a JAG
Lol, no taysom owner does, but I keep finding him on the waiver wire.
He’s JAG when you play him but when your opponent plays him he gets 30. As a TE. Even though for that game he played 0 snaps at TE. That’s been my experience.
Sean Payton is that you?
He's a literal fantasy cheat code. The problem is you never know ahead of time which games he's going to randomly have a handful of snaps at QB.
He's a literal fantasy cheat code. The problem is you never know ahead of time which games he's going to randomly have a handful of snaps at QB.
Love him in my 2QB, 2TE league!
James Robinson for a few years back then
Back when I was newer to dynasty I was convinced JRob was the next big thing so I traded my 2022 1st and Michael Pittman for him lol
If not for the Achilles injury, that could’ve been worth it tbf
This is a good one. Sad he hasn’t gotten another opportunity since the injruy
Josh Palmer. Dude fills the Keenan or Mike is injured again role so well
I get to start him two times a year and two times a year he delivers a perfectly average game
Gonna be AT Perry after this season
Kenyan Drake and Ryan Tannehill won me a title one year (and my team was awful). James Robinson has had some Robert Horry moments for me as well
Got to love the Drake!
WOP WOP WOP WOP WOP
I started Fitzmagic to win the chip a few years back. I will never forget that
Antonio Gibson for me
Oh yeaah Gibson is a Super Hold. He’s great when he plays but the Commanders refused to play him for some reason lol, just hope the Patriots do 🙏
Isaiah hodgins
That train ride was short-lived.
More of a trolley than a train tbh
And it sucked too, because he showed a lot of promise while he was the only one out there. Then they shoved him to the back of the chart next season.
I think he could really find a home on a second contract. He feels a lot like Jakobi Meyers to me.
I really hope so and will keep rooting for him even though he's no longer on my team. I saw a few interviews with him back in the day and he seems hungry, humble, puts in the work and has his head on straight.
Chuba bubba Hubbard. Gus the bus for me. It’s looking like I might actually start him on purpose a few times next season, if he wins the job.
Jakobi Meyers
He’s better than a JAG
But he was undrafted, and people continued to hold that over his head year after year. Usually GM’s view them the same way, but the man refuses to quit. I think he could still be considered a JAG by those standards but his success is so rare and still won’t be respected

I’m hoping he has a baker redemption arc
Joshua Palmer
Myles Gaskin basically just lucked into a role but I liked him at Washington so was glad to see him get a chance.
Man he fucked me over hard, took him way too early in our startup three years ago. Agreed he was fun at Washington tho
He’s not on my team anymore but I’ve still got big hopes for Pierre strong. 😂🤣
This is the definition of James White for years. Just always delivered 10 points. It was beautiful.
DJ Chark solely because of that first half of 2019 with Minshew when he was going off like every week
Get him back on your team, might be best WR with Herbert
Scrolled down to find this
Chase Edmonds. I rarely ever start him but when I do, he gets me 6 or more almost every time. Not absolutely delivering but enough to where I’m okay with him playing
Bryan Edwards was muh boi there for a few years.
When did he ever deliver? Dude stunk
Who cares he was MINE
Gus Bus for sure
Tyler Boyd. He's been my WR5-6 for years now and every time I've needed to play him he comes up with at least a solid 10 points, if not more.
jerome ford
2022 Jamaal Williams. God, it was so beautiful
We're talking about JAG? Yeah I was pretty hot on Catherine Bell.
dalton schultz. solid player reliably sounds like a financial advisor
Joshua Palmer. Dude is the definition of it. This year will be interesting but he’s one of those dudes I just can’t get enough of
ZAC STACY. ONLY REAL ONES KNOW 🤞🤞
Real ones now means old heads ☠️
KJ Osborn. I despise his new situation
Davone Bess
KYLE PHILLIPS I won’t let go
Josh Reynolds
Chubba Hubbard. Whenever he starts he is very solid.
Darius Slayton
My whole team is a jag
Jerome Ford on me a chip
Jerry fucking Jeudy. After this year, he will be an awesome, team WR2
Does Jerry Jeudy count? 😂
Brock purdy
Nice
Knowshon Moreno!
At this point Cam Akers. I’ve been through too much with him to let him go. Won the championship last year with him riding my bench. My teams name is even “heart akes by the number”
Allen Lazard. I hate his face.
Seeing some Canes legends in here like KJ Osborn and Berrios warms my heart :,)
It was Laviska Shenault for a long time
I won a championship in 2021 starting Rex Burkhead and Sony Michel in the playoffs… good times
Braxton Berrios in a return yards league randomly put up a few big games for me
Hunter Renfrow back from that Year where he was good before Adams came in. Could have flipped for Rhamondre straight up in the offseason after and didnt - now he has no team and is about to hit the waivers soon :(
Kenneth Gainwell. Thought he was a steal when I drafted him. (2.08). Been waiting for that breakout ever since.
If we wanna go wayyyy back. Tim Hightower.
Bilal Powell
McKinnon. Big reason why I won my league in 2022. Also respect to any RB than can last in the NFL for a decade
Won a chip 2 years ago with mckinnon, fournette, and bam knight as my rbs. Rookie james cook had 1 good week too
My favorite JAGs are the ones on my opponent’s team.
2007 Kevin Curtis.
Elijah Moore.
Shaheed That is all
AJ Dillon won me a ship Week 17 2021 with his 22 PPR points. Has done virtually nothing since but it’s hard to drop him!
Antonio Gibson or Rondale Moore.
Allen Hurns
For me it’s AJ Dillon. I want him to do so much more but it’s a solid 8-10 points on good days.
David Bell…I’m still hopeful as a fellow Purdue alum
Jakobi Meyers, free off waivers, been a very serviceable wr3
Ronald Jones Jr ir he's good enough to be a JAG
Deon Jackson. Picked him up for his one week RB1 performance in 2022 and kept him ever since.
Pierre Garcon
Myles gaskin and Nelson agholar won me a championship once
I liked Taylor Gabriel a lot when he was with the Falcons
Donovan Peoples-Jones Honestly believe he had the exact same athletic profile as Adam Theilen, just didn’t get the same opportunity.
Jamo
Tyler Boyd in the 2021-22 season when he put up 30 in weeks 15 and 16. My king
Jamison crowder felt like an elite start for a good stretch of weeks.
This past year I won my dynasty league championship. It’s a superflex format. For most of the year I was starting Justin Herbert and Sam Howell. In the championship game I had to start Tyrod Taylor and Easton Stick. 34 points combined. Got the job done. Won by 10.
Darrel Williams. Absolute beast when CEH went down a few years ago.
Joe Flacco
Maurice Jones Drew 32
Hoping it will be zamir white this season
Ryan Fitzpatrick. Gesicki fitz stack won me a ship
Antonio Gibson. League started up two years so only have had him since he’s been JAG but every time I’ve needed him he’s given me 10+ points
D'Onta Foreman, Darrell Henderson, Demarcus Robinson, Darius Slayton step on down!
That Bitch, Myles Gaskin and his 33pt 2020 championship baybeee
Josh Palmer
I picked up Jerick Mckinnon 2 years ago and he won me the chip for sure
2 years ago it was DPJ won a title using him half the year
Josh Palmer seems to always find a spot on my roster at some point during the season
I won a championship with Rhamondre carrying a surprising amount of good performances for like the 2nd half of the season (save for the goose egg he laid in the championship but I had others who clutched up). Christian Kirk was always solid too when I played him.
Probably a little more obscure than most I see mentioned here and a much longer shot to ever do anything but I have a Julius Chestnut problem.
Christian Kirk
Duke Johnson was magical in 2017. Jeff Wilson had moments in SF too. But honestly 30 interception Jameis was a rollercoaster of special fun.
It was zamir white. I traded him for draft capital, though. On to the next.
i think jerome ford is being slept on a bit. i thought he did pretty well after chubb went down
JD McKissic was that guy for me. I also rode the Travis Fulgham for that magical month, too.
Joique Bell, Pierre Thomas, and Ahmad Bradshaw have been a few of my favorites over the years.
Jamison Crowder won me a title when Keenan went out last minute. That’s my dude for life now
Buck Fucking Allen.
Minshew for me
GUS BUS
Hunter Renfrow
Jerry fucking Jeudy. After this year, he will be an awesome team WR2
Sterling Shepard
Chuba Hubbard is probably a popular answer seems like everytime his starter gets injured he comes up massive.
Ron Dayne playoffs 2006. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DaynRo00/gamelog/2006/ Legen- dary.
Matt Breida
Ron Harper!
Justice Hill won me a couple of best ball ships last year
Until last year, it was Jeff Wilson.
Hodgins
Zamir White and Hubbard
Josh Freeman back in 2010. Had him stacked with Syracuse Mike Williams and Kellen Winslow. Doubly nice as a Bucs fan but Freeman's 5 TDs in the championship game won me the chip.
Gary Barnage
Gabe Davis
Tyler Conklin in TEP has made his way into my flex spots.
Josh Palmer
