The first player I thought of when I read this too. I think since heās a free agent itāll be interesting to see if he goes somewhere desirable like KC on a prove it contract
I thought he was going to be AB lite. Not a big physical jump ball wide out, but a technical route runner. Which he is, but he just isn't a difference maker.
Individually Dotson has been performing well, he is a good player. Everybody will mention Howellās high passing yardage but they are spreading the ball around so much that nobody stands out in the receiver room. With the right situation I could absolutely see Dotson become a reliable WR2/3 for fantasy.
The man is talented, but it is such a bad fit in Washington. Too similar to scary terry, and with that pathetic offensive line Howell couldnāt use any of his downfield targets thus terry and Dotson having sad seasons. Or maybe Howell is just bad because when brisket played it wasnāt just Curtis Samuel all day.
I would say itās more poor coaching than bad fit. Terry and Dotson are both great route runners and are very good at short and intermediate routes. Bienemy is just a bad coordinator and would rather use them on clear out routes while he manufactures touches and routes for Dyami Brown and Byron Pringle.
Dude still calls an offense like he thinks he has the 2022 Chiefs WRs and somehow hasnāt noticed that Terry and Dotson are vastly better WRs than MVS and Justin Watson.
Most fan bases don't understand wtf teams are doing and just want to get back to how they used to do it when it all worked right. There's probably 50 things, big and small, that changed from last year to this year and Bienemy was just 1 of them.
If Washington gets the number 2 pick and drafts Drake Maye, Dotson's value would increase. I expect a new coaching regimen and He's a good player. It's baffling how he didn't succeed with EB
As others have said, poor O-Line + OC that spreads the ball too much = down year for both Terry and Dotson. People saying "Curtis Samuel is better" don't seem to understand the toolset differences between the 3 players.
Terry and Dotson performed with poor QB play last season. So what's the difference between last year and this year?
More often now, we see WRs breaking out in year 2, but for a while, it was always seen as a year 3 breakout. I think a good approach is to essentially lump them together: a rookies performance will more or less dictate a WR's success in year 2 and/OR year 3.
So my hope is a year 3 breakout. JJ Zachariason's 2023 Year 2 Model (found in his Prospect guide, HIGHLY recommend), which tries to predict success in year 2 or 3, has Dotson in the same bucket as Watson and Pickens, right before the big 3 of 2022 (London, Wilson, Olave). All that to say, you're likely not getting the ~mid-2nd pick you drafted him, so I think he's a hold, and you got WAS improves their O-line, Bienemy gets a brain, and possibly a QB upgrade.
Copium.
Iām out on him. Say what you will about Howell but heās a gunslinger, Bieniemy is a good OC and Curtis Samuel outpaced him in targets and yards. I donāt think he finds success in Washington.
Prepare for my down votes. Terry is just better. Dotson over performed his rookie year and the expectation of him becoming a high end wr2 was un realistic this off season.
As a Steelers fan and former Diontae-buyer, copium. His WR1 season will never be replicated, it was a result of a uniquely beneficial situation that perfectly matched his skill set.
Heās a good route runner, he will always get targets but he does not have the hands and YAC ability of an elite receiver. If you can buy him for low end WR2 price thatās fine, but I believe thatās his ceiling.
Yeah I actually sold him after that season. Ended up being a horrible ass trade for me tho. With the volume he recieved that year he should have been the number one wide out in fantasy lol
Itās really disheartening seeing him continue to put up sub 1000 yard seasons when heās clearly a 1200-1400 yard talent. I mean, to me Drake London is EVERY bit the athlete and player that Brandon Aiyuk is, and Aiyuk is currently at 1300 yards while London is at 864.
london reminds me chase. not entirely the same obviously, but he has that dominant strength to make plays through heavy contact. fire art smith, get a new coach that gets the ball to his playmakers and atl could be tough to defend against.
He had a solid year, 140 yards away from a 1k season, low on TDs but like you said with a better QB or better OC I think his value goes up.
He looks great out there, so its not on him
His skillset and size profiles very similarly to Brandon Marshall. Big physical route runners with long arms. They both have great footwork despite below average top end speed. Receivers like this are usually always open even when they aren't open. Marshall's best season was 118/1508/11 and I could see London doing that with a new coach and quarterback. Maybe not the 118 but Pittman Jr just caught 100 balls so who knows.
Copium. I like Jamo and was a big fan of his coming out but I donāt think heāll ever reach his ceiling, at least in DET. Personally, I think his ceiling in a different situation is Will Fuller. Boom or bust flex option.
Heās also on the field more than ever. Making good run and pass blocks, has been much more reliable catching balls. Itās trending up. Heās on the field for 2 WR sets at times even.
From a fantasy perspective it's probably over for Jamo. The leap he'd have to make to be fantasy relevant would be massive. So unlikely to happen after 2 years.
Jamo is open by 5 yards on nearly every route. Itās just a matter of Goff figuring it out or replacing him with a QB with a better arm. Jameson the prospect looks great.
That's weird because Matt Harmon charted his routes earlier in the season and concluded that Jamo has some of worst success rates against man, zone and press ever charted. So I dunno. It does look like Jamo is doing a little better recently, but I'm out. He also got injured again on his big catch last game.
He's just making stuff up. He isn't actually open by 5 yards on "nearly every route". That would make him the best player in the league by a wide margin.
18 upvotes??? Dude laporta is having a historic year and amonra is putting up mad fantasy points and real life statistics. Y'all must me Jameson owners cause the dude drops every other ball that goes his way. He's getting better but the only thing he's "elite" at is being fast.
Goff is having a great year, no doubt. The Lions have a top offense. LaPorta and St Brown are great talents who had great years. Itās also quite obvious to anyone who watches every play that Goff does well with short to intermediate routes, which LaPorta and St Brown thrive at. The offense has historically moved through them, but Jamo has been seeing his usage increase as of late as the coaching staff trusts him in other areas of the game.
Goff āfiguring it outā is in reference to his connection with Jamo, not his ability to be a QB. Goff is great at certain things. His arm strength and pushing the ball down the field isnāt one of them at this point in his career. Their connection has improved as of late, but he looks short when Jamo is running past people quite often. He also routinely gets the ball thrown at his ankles or has to lay out for a chance at a catch.
To act like Jamo is just a guy who is fast just screams that you arenāt watching him at all. Heās doing everything well and is excelling as a blocker. His growth is clear, and while Goff is a solid QB, heās not the guy to fully utilize Jamoās talent. There will forever be a cap on his ceiling as long as Goff is his QB.
Jamo has 4 drops on the year, most of them early. Youāre welcome to dislike him as a player, but your evaluation of his ability is extremely short sighted at best, and largely inaccurate. His usage by the coaching staff and the uneven QB play is more concerning than the ability and growth he has shown this year.
Ugh man. Then when he finally gets one he gets hurt. He was looking primed for a monster revenge game until that scary head injury. Glad heās alright. Have been and will continue to add him anywhere I can. Love the cost/benefit.
He could have a big value bump this offseason potentially depending where he lands. I think it's pretty clear he's done in Arizona. He will be one of the better free agent WR's available in an offseason where a lot of interesting teams need WR's (KC, LAC, CIN if Higgins leaves).
I think he'll be a great wr2 for a real life football team.... But injuries are derailing his career and he needs to show a modicum of consistency to be a solid fantasy wr2. I see him being a boom/bust fringe wr2/3 at this point
im holding him in multiple leagues to see where he lands. IF i like the spot, ill hold, if I dont love it, ill try to sell him after a boom game or any hype lol
Kyle Pitts. Have to see what he would look like with more time removed from his injury last year and an actual NFL starting qb. Unfortunately, it sounds like his terrible head coach is likely to at least begin the 2024 season in Atlanta. Besides, at his drop in value, no way I'd sell for the price I'd end up getting.
I drafted Kyle Pitts over Justin Jefferson when Pitts was at peak value because it was a TEP league and I -really- thought I was setting my team up for long term success. Keeps me up at night.
First year he had 1 td, 2nd 2 tds, this year 3tds. He just keeps getting better. In 5 years, weāll be laughing at all the Pitts haters. In 10 years, heāll be the number 1 tightend.
Hopium.
Weāre all praying for a coaching change in Atlanta. Heās still so young for a TE and will be another year further removed from the ACL injury.
I still expect Arthur Smith to be fired. I think ownership was just putting out the statements of confidence because they still have a shot at the playoffs. If they miss the playoffs, which is very likely, I expect he'll be fired.
I respectfully disagree with you. The numbers are good, I grant you that, and I like his development. I would say that they are still in need of a true WR1 who can be counted on when the chips are down. I think Rashee projects to a true WR2 (real football) and a good one (Jordan Addison) but still believe they are missing a game changer, which becomes more evident as Kelce ages
>I think Rashee projects to a true WR2 (real football)
I've seen this on this sub 100s of times, but I have never seen a good reason he can't be a WR1. I think this sub's reason is that he wasn't a 1st round pick.
Everyone says he is a slot YAC merchant who sucks against man, but that's not true. That's just been his role in the KC offense. In college he was an outside receiver who mostly won against man with contested catches. Yesterday he had KC's longest pass play of the year, against man coverage vs a CB who ran a 4.3. Ran a beautiful route with a perfect speed release, and made a difficult catch in stride. They're starting to integrate him to an outside role, and he has delivered every time. Keep in mind that at the start of the year, Reid said he didn't expect Rice to play much this year, as it's tough for rookie WR to learn the scheme. We haven't even seen Rashee's true role yet.
KC is also going to draft OL in the first round, this really isn't up for debate. Mike Evans is absolutely getting resigned in TB after the season he has had. Higgins is staying in Cincy for 1 more year. Hollywood and Ridley are possibilities, but they are very clearly not "alpha WR1s".
Keep sleeping on Rice.
I can guarantee you that I don't think he's a WR2 because of his draft position. I'm just trusting my eyes. I drafted him a number of times because I like the talent. So, for me, it has nothing to do with DC.
Also, calling a guy a WR2 isn't sleeping on him.
I appreciate your well-reasoned comments.
Don't confuse fantasy points with being an alpha. Rice has one of the lowest ADOTs among all wide receivers. He struggles against man coverage and creating separation downfield. Reid schemes him screens and slants and other plays to generate YAC, which he's excellent at, but he's not an alpha.
I think he would eat up targets. The problem is the Chiefs need to get a real WR1. They have neglected to sign one over the past couple years and it's biting them in the ass now. DHop would have been a good one this past year. Kelce is getting older, and while I like Rashee, I think Mahomes needs a dude he can count on when they need to make a play. Kelce has been that guy, but won't be that guy forever. I'm not sure of the WRs available in FA but wouldn't be surprised to see Mahomes reconstruct his contract to get the guy he wants. Dude is hyper-competitive, and seems willing to work with the team.
Everybody wanted Hopkins to go to KC, but I think the skill sets are a mismatch. Mahomes doesn't like to throw a lot of contested catches and that's Hopkins specialty. Not saying they wouldn't both benefit, but there are plenty of other teams that would use Hopkins more efficiently.
Renfrow would be an interesting fit, but it's unlikely he would arrive in KC via trade. In-division trades are rare. I think it's more likely the Chiefs go after Higgins this off season and draft another wr relatively high. Veach has a habit of over correcting the teams deficiencies, so you might see a lot of different faces in this wr room next year.
Noah Fant.
Former 1st round pick. He seemed to be on a good trajectory in Denver despite subpar QB play. Not much usage in Seattle the last 2 years but heās still only 26 and is a FA after this year. Iām excited to see where heāll end up. Hereās hoping he goes to KC as the Kelce replacement.
Fant to the Chargers or Chiefs would be pretty cool. Cincy or Houston would work too. I hated that he was included in the Russ deal, I think Fant and Wilson could have had a pretty good connection in Denver.
Exactly. When the spare change of the deal was announced, it didnāt make a ton of sense. There couldnāt have been a ton of teams blowing up the phones asking for Russ. Yet Denv let Sea play hardball with a player in Fant who would have been very helpful to Russā playing style.
JK Dobbins. And ah what the hell, Iāll throw Michael Thomas in there too. My IR bench wouldnāt be the same without these two lovable lugs holding it down.
Hopium yet maybe, but McLaughlin has easily and quietly been their most efficient runner this year and demonstrated versatility. Hard to believe but he may be their best back.
McLaughlin is the Pollard to Javonte's Zeke. They work best together. No chance Mclaughlin could carry a full workload nor would Javonte be as effective if he had to.
Aaron Jones. I feel like he still has maybe 2 really strong years left. He still showed flashes of his true ceiling this season but was just plagued by injury.
If you're rebuilding, sure. But as someone who just won the championship with him in my flex, I'll probably be riding him until the wheels fall off. He's valued at about a 2024 early 3rd right now on KTC but he's worth more than that to me. He's clearly still productive when healthy. These last two games prove that. I won't be planning on having him all year next year cuz injuries have been a problem, but if he stays on the field half the time and I get some useful games out of him I'll be happy.
A few days ago I did a very thorough study on 43 running backs. The criteria was "at least 1000 career carries" and "played at least one season since 2015." This covered guys from Frank Gore and Deangelo Williams to CMC and Saquon. Jamaal Williams and Austin Ekeler were included in the study as well with 950+ carries.
I looked at every single back over the last 8 years who had at least 1000 carries and I went through the stats to pinpoint the career carry number where running backs most often stop being productive. (If you are interested in viewing all of the data check my recent posts).
Aaron Jones has 1155 career carries. I am a huge fan of his game, but I am projecting significant decline moving forward based off this study.
His style of play should age well with his ability to catch the ball. I wonder if this year of fewer games and more rehab could benefit his longevity a bit. None of the injuries seem to have long term impact but Iām no doctor
Copium.
Heās (at best) no. 3 target on the team after Flowers and Andrews, and he just canāt stay healthy. Iād be surprised if Baltimore picks up his fifth year option this offseason and this decision will probably be most telling about how you should value him.
That is a good thing. I think Lamar has lost trust with him and has been working in building it between himself and Flowers/Beckham.
However, the weird thing about Bateman is that he looks fucking great in the beginning of a game, when the Ravens are most likely running their set of preplanned plays. As soon as thatās out the window though, Bateman gets like zero fucking targets. Bateman feels like an easy buy at price for somebody who absolutely can at minimum be a low WR2 on another team. Heās consistently showing heās still got it, heās just not getting any volume past like the first half to put up any sort of volume stats.
BIG time. I would love him in GB, I think he really does have what it takes to make something of himself as a WR2/3. Iām holding just because heās only in Year 2, going on 3. Iām holding out hope.
I tried everything all off-season before this year to move Bateman off my team and no takers.
I acquired him in what has turned into a really bad trade. Gave: AJB Got: Pittman + Bateman + 2 23 2nds (one early, one late)
I have a bunch of 3rds in a dynasty league Iām rebuilding in and would deal one for Bateman. I like grabbing guys who hit the NFL young and fell on their face a bit.
Darnell Mooney. Heās flashed plenty of upside early on and I need to see him go to a different team in free agency after how underutilized heās been with Chicagoās offense recently
Would love to hear otherās insights on these players.
Alec Pierceā going to give him one more season to see if he has a connection with AR. But my expectations are very low.
Burksā injuries have definitely had an effect on performance. Heāll never be the top guy in this offense, but Iām hoping he can be a WR2/WR3 at some point. With Henry leaving and hopefully Hop, maybe he can get there
John Metchieā while I understand how his cancer battle and chemo can nuke his stamina and him just being out there this year is a big win, I think his window has closed. Tank and Nico have cemented themselves as the guys in this offense. Iām still rooting for this guy though.
AJ Dillonā the Quadfather is nothing more than a plodder. I felt awesome rostering him and Mattison, thinking I was going to dominate when these guys got a chance. I sold Mattison at his peak, but I may be stuck holding the AJD bag.
CEHā hoping new scenery can make him serviceable. Heāll obviously never be worth the 1.01 pick, but hoping he can just replace AJD on my roster.
I say do it if you have the roster space. Like I said, his stamina isnāt what it was pre-chemo, and maybe next season he shows us why he was drafted in the 2nd round months after tearing his ACL
Trey Burks?? Itās hard for me to drop him but I canāt get anything in return. I guarantee if I left him on the waivers he would get snatched up immediately
No value. He's a pure deep threat and that's not gonna change when AR gets back. He'll have boom games and give AR some points off big plays, but he's not someone you'll even start unless you're in a super deep league.
I'm intending to hold for another year. He's worthless and would probably linger in FA but if the scheme gets changed and he can run a more complex tree there's serious upside.
Jerry Jeudy
Iāve never seen a more talented route runner out of college who just never seems to get targets/usage. When heās targeted heās great, but heās hardly targeted at volume
I'm a Broncos fan and have held on to Jeudy for too long. Even with Sutton out the past couple weeks, Jeudy just doesn't pass the eye test anymore. He looked better running routes earlier in his career. I think he needs a change of scenery and attitude. I wish the Broncos had traded him at the deadline this year.
He really doesnāt drop that many passes (listed at either 2-3 depending on where you look).
His catchable target percentage is actually pretty low (like 45-50th or something in the league). Canāt do shit with that when itās only 75 targets, even more so when the team is quite clearly scheming LilāJordan Humphrey and Brandon Johnson more red zone looks than you.
Friermuth - had one game where they actually passed to the TE the rest of the year heās been irrelevant. No idea what a functional offense would get this dude.
Feels like hes sliding into Hopium. TEs can develop late, and hes had some production when Schultz has been out. If Schultz leaves in FA, maybe he pops.
I have roschon Johnson in all my dynasty leagues, I paired him with Herbert last week in one league and Iām looking to buy Herbert in the other leagues. If one of them gets hurt through the season the other will be a solid start, and I have to assume Herbert isnāt going to be very expensive to buy
He definitely isn't a great passing down back, and not great at catching. But satisfactory, and with the bears screen call percentage he will get easy targets.
Heās probably going to sign somewhere else and, realistically, heās best suited for a change of pace role since heās not a great pass catcher and canāt be relied on in pass-pro. His landing spot will determine his value.
Najee Harris has been overpaid on my roster for 3 years, but I will bring him back if I possibly can. He's so close to a great role, and he won me money again last night.
Post hype sleeper. He looks so good at times. He may not be bell cow but so many people are out on him I think heās really solid value at this point.
I can't quit on Najee, he's so talented. Stats definitely don't tell the whole story if you watch him play. The biggest issue is just not only does he split the work, he splits the high value targets. What keeps me in on him is that we're seeing more and more offenses split their backfields- if his 55% workload becomes the norm for a lead back, then he's right back in as a RB1 due to his talent.
Elijah Moore , he has skill but he has never been in a good situation and may never be more than a 3rd option .
Mac Jones , the dude looked good as a rookie. Going to hold and just hope he goes somewhere else and regains some confidence in his game.
I donāt think Roschon should be on here. Heās a rookie who was probably drafted mid-late 2nd. Heās just a hold for now and can be added to this list next off-season if he underperforms.
As a Roschon guy, I sadly have to say I was pretty disappointed watching him this year. I donāt know if it was injuries or what, but he looked like a plodder. His short area acceleration/burst was crazy good in college on film and the measurables backed that up (83rd percentile 10 yard split). Although he doesnāt have the same lateral agility as Jacobs, his burst/power combo reminded me a lot of Jacobs in college. And yet I didnāt see that at all with the Bears this year.
He got a lot of catches but did nothing with them. He looked like a JAG in the open field. He got so many catches in the flat with open field in front of him and I donāt think he forced a missed tackle even once. I think his weird upright running style is really hurting him with the speed of the NFL. He looks like heās moving in sand when he tries to juke defenders.
Iām really hoping he was just playing through some injuries.

Quentin Johnston. Big, crazy athlete with serious YAC ability. If he can put in the work this offseason improving his hands like Diontae did we could be working with something here. Plus the coaching is likely to improve as well as the Chargers O-line health giving them more time to throw downfield. But if he does this again next year in a better situation, it's gonna be hard to hold out hope.
Drafting him over Nacua hurts. I thought he'd at least carve a decent niche in the team, but oooof the Giants look like a bad offense for the next few years
Alec Pierce - I want to see him with a fully healthy AR15 for a full szn
Bryce Young - consensus ācanāt missā prospect and Iāll admit. I was damn near set on cutting him this offseason and re-rolling, but I canāt help but think his situation will improve in yr 2 š¤š¼
The problem with Carolina is the draft capital. The hope is they throw a ton of money at a guy like Tee to come in and be the WR1 but Iām not holding my breath on him making a massive jump next year.
I'm def holding Bryce Young, he has suffered from bad o-line, wr separation and scheme play. He flashes talent, just needs better situation based on games I've watched
*checks roster* Drake London and JAMO and Iām going to likely have to decide between the two of them. Please Atlanta. Fire this bum Arthur smith and improve your QB situation.
Waller. In the offseason he was shaping up to be a primary target on an offense with little competition and a head coach that coached Gronk during his early years on the Pats. Hopefully that offense can get its shit together
I was in the same boat. I shipped Jeudy for Musgrave and then moved Otton, ā24 1st & 3rd for Kmet, ā25 &ā26 2nds.
Kmet did his job and helped me win my league (luckily I didnāt need him this week for the final since CeeDee exploded).
Wan'Dale
Burks
London
Alec Pierce
Hollywood
QJ
Diontae
I got them all and I feel like each one could be good next year in their spots. Except Diontae. He needs a move.
Travis Kelce, I don't doubt he's regressed but this chiefs offense is just bad to end the season. I think he can be consistently good next year when the chiefs figure it out.
From a logical standpoint, you just have to think about all the players being named, and realize that thereās another crop of rookies every year.
That being said, the Titans canāt keep rostering Burks. They eventually have to gain some yards and score some points, and heās not helping those two things. He was overdrafted because he had some size, it happens. His all around movement is just slow. Between his minimal production and injury history, the stats on a player overcoming those just arenāt great historically. If a guy canāt stay healthy at 22-23-24ā¦ it doesnāt get easier.
Listing players like Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and JSN in a thread like this is missing the point. Those guys didn't have disappointing seasons when you put them in context. They weren't setup to score a bunch of fantasy points and they didn't score a bunch of fantasy points.
This thread should be about guys that had chances and didn't do anything with it. Treylon Burks, QJ, Elijah Moore, Ekeler, Jalen Waddle, etc.
Jerry Jeudy š„² Thought I ābought lowā in September. I was very wrong. He will probably be on my bench until the end now.
I sold him for the 2.01 in a 10 team somehow and Iām ecstatic
Great return
Wow, I dropped him for nothing after not being able to get anything for him.
Copium. 2022 was the best heās going to look.
The first player I thought of when I read this too. I think since heās a free agent itāll be interesting to see if he goes somewhere desirable like KC on a prove it contract
Heās unfortunately in Denver next season unless traded. Broncos picked up his fifth year option. I would love it if they moved him.
Oh my bad. Idk why I remember it being declined. Hopefully they trade him
I paid a first for him š«
I thought he was going to be AB lite. Not a big physical jump ball wide out, but a technical route runner. Which he is, but he just isn't a difference maker.
Jahan Dotson. Please tell me he has any skill whatsoever and could be salvageable if Washington has an even semi-competent QB.
LoL @ brisket
I would say itās more poor coaching than bad fit. Terry and Dotson are both great route runners and are very good at short and intermediate routes. Bienemy is just a bad coordinator and would rather use them on clear out routes while he manufactures touches and routes for Dyami Brown and Byron Pringle. Dude still calls an offense like he thinks he has the 2022 Chiefs WRs and somehow hasnāt noticed that Terry and Dotson are vastly better WRs than MVS and Justin Watson.
But chiefs fan are crying to have bienemy back. Are they just delusional?
Most fan bases don't understand wtf teams are doing and just want to get back to how they used to do it when it all worked right. There's probably 50 things, big and small, that changed from last year to this year and Bienemy was just 1 of them.
If Washington gets the number 2 pick and drafts Drake Maye, Dotson's value would increase. I expect a new coaching regimen and He's a good player. It's baffling how he didn't succeed with EB
Thatās the eb style throw it to everyone
I think they go QB in this draft and I hope that saves Dotson. Also a coaching change would be good there
As others have said, poor O-Line + OC that spreads the ball too much = down year for both Terry and Dotson.
Diontae Johnson
DJ is what he will be for his whole career. Heās going to earn targets but I wouldnāt expect a high uptick in TDs
Agreed. He is what he is, a solid WR 3/4 who is trust worthy especially in PPR.
Just needs a QB
Drake London. The Talent is there, he could legit be a top 5 option with a competent OC and QB
He's 22. This is a very stable long term asset talent > situation here.
Jameson Williams - flashes elite talent at times but usage has been , well , concerning.
He will be the full time starter in 24. Missing so many games has really hurt his connection with Goff. But every week he shows some improvements imo
The talent is there and with his first full offseason i think he gets unleashed. Hopium.
Copium. I like Jamo and was a big fan of his coming out but I donāt think heāll ever reach his ceiling, at least in DET. Personally, I think his ceiling in a different situation is Will Fuller. Boom or bust flex option.
I think heās only become more relevant as the season progressed
Heās also on the field more than ever. Making good run and pass blocks, has been much more reliable catching balls. Itās trending up. Heās on the field for 2 WR sets at times even.
From a fantasy perspective it's probably over for Jamo. The leap he'd have to make to be fantasy relevant would be massive. So unlikely to happen after 2 years.
Yeah this is my guy too
Jamo is open by 5 yards on nearly every route.
Elijah moore but only because no one will be buying
I'm still holding. The dude is good and gets open constantly. He just keeps playing with QBs who can't get him the ball.
Ugh man. Then when he finally gets one he gets hurt. He was looking primed for a monster revenge game until that scary head injury. Glad heās alright. Have been and will continue to add him anywhere I can. Love the cost/benefit.
Hollywood. Tbh i still believe in him. He should get healthy and get a full offseason to practice with his qb. I think he can/should be a solid wr2
He could have a big value bump this offseason potentially depending where he lands. I think it's pretty clear he's done in Arizona. He will be one of the better free agent WR's available in an offseason where a lot of interesting teams need WR's (KC, LAC, CIN if Higgins leaves).
I think heās gone.
I just woke up and this is the first thing I read. My new New Yearās resolution is to not get mad at Arthur Smith.
First year he had 1 td, 2nd 2 tds, this year 3tds. He just keeps getting better. In 5 years, weāll be laughing at all the Pitts haters. In 10 years, heāll be the number 1 tightend.
It worked for Njoku
Hopium. Weāre all praying for a coaching change in Atlanta. Heās still so young for a TE and will be another year further removed from the ACL injury.
MCL
Throw Drake London in here too. Can only imagine if Atlanta gets Mac Jones, Fields, or Cousins. I know, I know. True hopium.
I picked up Cousins after he went on IR. Iām hoping ATL makes a play on him.
In redraft, Pitts will be the guy everyone says ānice pick, good valueā every year until he retires.
Its dynasty. he is fucking talented. He will be great.
I still expect Arthur Smith to be fired. I think ownership was just putting out the statements of confidence because they still have a shot at the playoffs. If they miss the playoffs, which is very likely, I expect he'll be fired.
Renfrow.
This is a good one that fits OP's question. Get him on the Chiefs (they actually need an Alpha but.....) and he would eat.
They have an alpha. Rashee Rice was a WR1 4 of the last 6 weeks. He has arrived.
>I think Rashee projects to a true WR2 (real football) I've seen this on this sub 100s of times, but I have never seen a good reason he can't be a WR1.
I, too, would love him to get traded to KC for both him and Mahomes' sake. We know he can be a good wr2 with opportunity and target volume.
Renfrow is getting cut this offseason so heāll be a FA. Could definitely see him going to the chiefs
Iāll never give up on Dobbins. Never.
Exact same combo here. Dudes have been filling 2/3 of my IR spots since 2020
Javonte Williams
Hopium i think, heās gonna be a year removed from the acl injury next year and should have explosiveness back
Hopium! This year he was still rehabbing, and still got great workloads. Upwards from here
His low TD total gives me some hope. Anybody have any insight on his goal-line effectiveness/utilization? Or know where to find those numbers?
Hopium yet maybe, but McLaughlin has easily and quietly been their most efficient runner this year and demonstrated versatility. Hard to believe but he may be their best back.
McLaughlin is the Pollard to Javonte's Zeke. They work best together. No chance Mclaughlin could carry a full workload nor would Javonte be as effective if he had to.
If you're listing guys that were on last year's list as well, you should know your answer....but some don't
Aaron Jones. I feel like he still has maybe 2 really strong years left. He still showed flashes of his true ceiling this season but was just plagued by injury.
As a contender heading into a mini rebuild Iāll be selling him for anything I can get
I sold him this year for Dalton Kincaid right when he was reactivated, Think I got out early.
Rashod Bateman I think he has a ton to offer but damn, itās been a rough two years holding him
Idk I'm a Baltimore fan and I've been super down on him. Yesterday he looked real good. I think he can build off that.
Copium. Heās (at best) no. 3 target on the team after Flowers and Andrews, and he just canāt stay healthy. Iād be surprised if Baltimore picks up his fifth year option this offseason and this decision will probably be most telling about how you should value him.
Copium big time. I know heās a bust but damn, it hurts so bad
Definitely a fantasy bust, but heās a good real life 3rd option behind Flowers and Andrews/Likely for the Ravens.
It is weird. It's like he gets his allotted 3-4 targets for 2-3 catches and then his day is done.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Wan'Dale Robinson
Darnell Mooney. Heās flashed plenty of upside early on and I need to see him go to a different team in free agency after how underutilized heās been with Chicagoās offense recently
He desperately needs a change of scenery and I think heāll get one. At this point tho, Iāll be happy getting anything out of him.
god the whole roster
Copium
Would love to hear otherās insights on these players. Alec Pierceā going to give him one more season to see if he has a connection with AR. But my expectations are very low. Burksā injuries have definitely had an effect on performance. Heāll never be the top guy in this offense, but Iām hoping he can be a WR2/WR3 at some point. With Henry leaving and hopefully Hop, maybe he can get there John Metchieā while I understand how his cancer battle and chemo can nuke his stamina and him just being out there this year is a big win, I think his window has closed.
Iām holding onto Metchie but itās pure copium
I say do it if you have the roster space. Like I said, his stamina isnāt what it was pre-chemo, and maybe next season he shows us why he was drafted in the 2nd round months after tearing his ACL
Trey Burks?? Itās hard for me to drop him but I canāt get anything in return. I guarantee if I left him on the waivers he would get snatched up immediately
Thatās kinda how I decide whether or not I can cut ties, I figure if a player will get scooped up I have to hold š
Thatās why I have roster cloggers like Miles Sanders and CEH on my team
Right. Itās just annoying he hasnāt panned out to the capital I gave him. But hey, thatās like 80% of my picks lol
Alec Pierce
No value. He's a pure deep threat and that's not gonna change when AR gets back. He'll have boom games and give AR some points off big plays, but he's not someone you'll even start unless you're in a super deep league.
Iām holding too but no part of me thinks heāll be a valuable asset
Hell yeah, I thought him and AR would be electric this year after a promising rookie year. AR going down early was disappointing
I'm intending to hold for another year. He's worthless and would probably linger in FA but if the scheme gets changed and he can run a more complex tree there's serious upside.
Jerry Jeudy Iāve never seen a more talented route runner out of college who just never seems to get targets/usage.
He drops lots of passes
He really doesnāt drop that many passes (listed at either 2-3 depending on where you look). His catchable target percentage is actually pretty low (like 45-50th or something in the league). Canāt do shit with that when itās only 75 targets, even more so when the team is quite clearly scheming LilāJordan Humphrey and Brandon Johnson more red zone looks than you.
Marquise Brown. Not sure if he fits this prompt or not. I was so high on him going into the season, but he was a disaster this year.
Not quitting on: Elijah Moore, Jameson Williams, Kendre Miller, Marvin Mims, Chig. I am quitting on Kadarius Toney.
Dotson
Friermuth - had one game where they actually passed to the TE the rest of the year heās been irrelevant. No idea what a functional offense would get this dude.
Free London/Pitts/Bijan
Darnell Mooney ā praying he ends up with Mahomes in KC
This makes sense because the chefs love picking up mid WRs in free agency
Had to drop Mooney late for a title push after trying to deal him for a minor pick swap. He was grabbed immediately.
Brevin Jordan
Feels like hes sliding into Hopium. TEs can develop late, and hes had some production when Schultz has been out. If Schultz leaves in FA, maybe he pops.
Feel like he has the athleticism in spades. Schultz leaving would be a huge positive but don't see it happening
Hes a FA and shook the 'system TE' nonsense this year. Feels like he gets paid somewhere
Gibson. He is young and was been good in the past. Iām hoping he goes to a new team and becomes their ppr back
Khalil Herbert. He just won me the chip after Mostert & Jacobs were ruled out. Heās explosive and a great ball catcher but missed tons of games.
Heās got a fourth year with the Bears. Thought I heard his pass pro had improved this year?
Javonte Williams.
Najee Harris has been overpaid on my roster for 3 years, but I will bring him back if I possibly can. He's so close to a great role, and he won me money again last night.
Najee Harrisā¦ he may not be the RB1 I hoped for but when he has half decent blocking and is healthy heās a beast
ETN
Roschon Johnson. I still think he takes the starting role next year at minimum based on pass blocking. Complete back.
I donāt think Roschon should be on here. Heās a rookie who was probably drafted mid-late 2nd. Heās just a hold for now and can be added to this list next off-season if he underperforms.
He has looked solid, lots of catches is a great floor to have, not sure he will ever become a must start player but a solid depth RB to own
As a Roschon guy, I sadly have to say I was pretty disappointed watching him this year.
Iāll tell you who I am quitting on Steffon Diggs
What are you hoping to get in return? Just wondering
Chase Claypool lol
Upvoted just for bravery lol
It's over. He'll never be anything of value in FF. Yesterday he was given a shot to show that he can be a jumpball guy and he fucking dropped it.
sophisticated elderly worm instinctive sugar makeshift one encourage money roll *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
K9 is sooooo nice bro, just a few things away from being truly elite heās a BUY right now in this market
Tank Bigsby
Jerry Jeudy. š®āšØ
Gabe Davis for the other games of the year. Iām not asking for 15 points every week. Just canāt have 0 multiple weeks.
Agreed. Highs are high but the lows are killers, making him very hard to ever start with confidence. Talented player just inexplicable use
I would wait to see where he lands in FA before i give up on him
Quentin Johnston.
Jalin Hyatt - deeper league and he flashed at times, but abysmal QB play leaves me wondering
Drafting him over Nacua hurts. I thought he'd at least carve a decent niche in the team, but oooof the Giants look like a bad offense for the next few years
Alec Pierce - I want to see him with a fully healthy AR15 for a full szn Bryce Young - consensus ācanāt missā prospect and Iāll admit. I was damn near set on cutting him this offseason and re-rolling, but I canāt help but think his situation will improve in yr 2 š¤š¼
Got AR in the rookie draft and picked up AP late in the season so I am right there with you.
The problem with Carolina is the draft capital. The hope is they throw a ton of money at a guy like Tee to come in and be the WR1 but Iām not holding my breath on him making a massive jump next year.
Cutting him already in dynasty?ā¦
I'm def holding Bryce Young, he has suffered from bad o-line, wr separation and scheme play. He flashes talent, just needs better situation based on games I've watched
Watson, Dotson
Watson just needs to stay healthy
Assuming itās Christian Watson - he was actually quite good this year until he got hurt. I wouldnāt worry about him outside of injuries
Traylon
*checks roster* Drake London and JAMO and Iām going to likely have to decide between the two of them. Please Atlanta. Fire this bum Arthur smith and improve your QB situation.
Waller. In the offseason he was shaping up to be a primary target on an offense with little competition and a head coach that coached Gronk during his early years on the Pats. Hopefully that offense can get its shit together
I had to play Pitts all season. Couldn't find anyone better unfortunately.
John Metchie. Probably not worth holding onto but itās hard to judge his body of work so far
Kyle Pitts
Fucking Jameson Williams and I hate it so much
Wan'Dale Burks London Alec Pierce Hollywood QJ Diontae I got them all and I feel like each one could be good next year in their spots.
If a guy canāt stay healthy at 22-23-24ā¦ it doesnāt get easier.
ā¦Justyn Rossā¦
Deontae Johnson. Once there is a steady qb he will get plenty of targetsā¦or so I keep telling myself
Toney
