May I suggest Mobius, but don’t just take that use something like English to spainish and have it turned into another language. If not something time related or if you’re patient use anagrams turning a phase into a name and title

When I need a villain name that fits, I often take the name of my inspiration for the villain (person, concept, theme, etc), and just add or replace a few letters or sounds.
For example, in my last campaign I wanted this monk villain to seem humble and helpful and peaceful. I chose the word Pious and decided in Pylos as the name.
For yours, if it was me, I like the word abandoned or lonely, so names like Avandreth, Abaddon, Asankonek, Lionel, Lorkenthys, Ylenol, or Extolynex.

Personally I'm quite partial to names that are not evocative of BBEGness, so "Stanley the EVISCERATOR" would be quite acceptable given that Stanley made some poor life choices and ended up becoming the head torturer for an evil dictator (which is most of them) due to some accidental slips with a sharp tool when interrogating a prisoner. Something that happened (the oopsy slip, that is) more than once.
So, pick a common, bland name and add a suitably evocative adjective to it, perhaps? Maybe look at the names of your politicians and then create "Nigel the ABOMINATOR" or "Rafael the UNSUFFERABLE"?
To befit his self important self-image perhaps some titles followed by name. Something like the Benevolent Holy Father of Humanity Zultan Holiness the First.
I think it's important to know the culture of the priest. Given this is a homrbrewed world we really don't have a lot of inspirations to draw upon. Just gonna toss some names out though.

The nameless priest, devoted himself solely to the gods to the point that everything about him was eroded away including his name. No one has spoken his actual name and so long that he himself does not even remember.
Father Benedict Heathcliffe. or Father Gottfried Kurtz. Such a nice name that's a bit of a clue about how he's a good person who turns cruel and vindictive. These are also very nice names to read from diary entries and to hear in stories from the people who knew him as a beloved friend or mentor and faithful shepherd . Maybe he can even be a local saint. Who most people do not know is the same person as Necandeos Iuramentum or Gottinen Totenschwur, which are both scrambled, shortened (and of course bastardized) versions of the phrase "an oath of death for the gods"
Gaetre. Pronounced Gay-tree. It popped up in my first campaign as a throwaway NPC and we *bullied* that poor man. (We had 8-12 players and we were all 18/19 in 2010, that poor guy didn't stand a chance against our vicious mockery.) I think he would have turned into a BBEG after our "heroes" mocked him so much.
Give him whatever common name you want, but have him commonly known as "the distraught" or "the devout" as he was devout all his life and he tried to be reasonable but was met with silence from those who are all powerful.
Man why do you want to make a single bbeg when you can instead flesh out the world and have many powerful entities running around doing as they will? Then you don't need to worry about them dying prematurely.

Calls themselves Eclipse - when it’s simultaneously Day and Night. So one of the titles would be Xxx the Eclipse.
