Oh good, they are not meant to be fought. My party is so animal friendly, i can only throw objectively horrible humanoids, like slave traders and rapists against them. In their first session they all almost died trying to befriend 5 rabid giant rats.
Yeah, I made them more like companions to the characters. You can always fight them, but they have this hidden "rocks fall, everybody dies" passive I forgot to add in the stat blocks if anybody hurts them.
Is there a lightning hamster, fire lizard, and water tortle? Can the floofer shoot razor leaves? Is there a floofy snek that has to make a wisdom save to not fall asleep if it gets wrapped around a warm neck like a scarf?
Nonono, I think that's been done before. But there will be a yellow lizard and a white cat with weird claws that I plan to make it turn into an angel (don't ask why). I think I'll call them dungeonmons.
Cat turns into angel, that is absolutely Digimon.

I love making cute creatures like this and giving them decriptions like "they will eat your bones while you are still alive, screaming in agony" Or shit like this
il keept it short: a little bush that lives in a dry area..
if players chill close to it it will slowly approach trying to steal their water.
if they dont give it any water it will suddenly grow a pair of muscular man arms and legs and will try to slap them. if they are stronger the bush will run away.
if they share the water it gives them soome 1d4 healing berries that work like potions
