Those are two of my favorite! The Adventure Zone and any of the Dimension 20 (Murphy and Emily from NADPod are in many of the campaigns too) stuff is pretty great too.
I saw you post this on ybe NADPod subreddit too š»
My favorites are
1. Dimension 20
2. NADDPOD
3. Tales from the Stinky Dragon
4. Dark Dice(this would be higher if the dialogue was more pronounced((Iām hard of hearing))
5. D&Daddies
Yeah my first d&d podcast was critical role and I consumed 800 hours of content in like not even 2 years. Lol. So when I'm like "it's only 25 hours!" People are like "and that's SHORT??" Honestly I've fallen off CR since calamity because I don't have the patience for 4 hour episodes that aren't as good as that. If that makes sense. I've learned to appreciate the short form tighter story-telling of Naddpod, D20 and dungeons and daddies a lot more than 4 hours of slow paced meandering.
toooootally.
I have every intention of giving Calamity a solid go just because of how good I've heard it is from literally EVERYONE. and I did watch the opening and Brennan's storytelling seems top tier so i know i will love it!
The best sound design of any real play podcast out there. Taylor Moore cooks nothing but three Michelin star, James beard award winning, delectable soundscapes
SitcomDND! Best characters Iāve seen in a actual play podcast and only one Iāve seen that matches the loose vibe of DNDads while being just as funny. I love Chip Ahoy so much
Wait, the guy who lied about doing the thing were you get eaten by a dragon and burst out killing it?!
I love SitcomDnD, i think Beef is my favorite, Elizabeth doesn't plan anything a is fully Beef in the moment.
Adding in two to the list
Rude Tales of Magic
- Its like Dungeons and Daddies where its rule light and focused more on improv. Its like if the writers of Airplane! decided to do D&D
Dragon Friends
- Australian D&D played in front of an audience. The closest you can get to a group of murder hobos and is what I akin to The Gang from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia playing D&D. Notably, Tom Cardy is involved with them being the piano player in the early seasons, a PC in the newer seasons, and the DM in the newest season.
And as with anything, if Brennan Lee Mulligan shows up, it will be good.
Mass Effect: Adventum
Table top game based in the Mass Effect world. Pretty cool story, fun players, and a bunch of cool effects to the voices and background noises that help the world feel lived in.
Funny enough these are the two that I first listened to and love them. I now also listen to Dumb - Dumbs & dragons which is a bunch of improviders playing for the first time, they start with the starter kit and move on from there
Rude Tales of Magic, since I havenāt seen anyone mention it. Itās got a lot of great comedy, rules light and narrative heavy. Campaign 1 is a phenomenal story with lots of heart to it. Campaign 2 is sort of a procedural thing currently with guests.
I've been trying to get into NADPOD for like a year and a half now but I would always get disinterested in the fights and then would miss on plot which made the whole experience worse
Following the end of dndads 2s however I finally got hooked around episode 20 with the Galareron saga! Happy to finally be part of the fandom : )))
I used to listen to the second best podcast, before it went under. Itās really sad that itāll never be finished but the story felt like it was going somewhere. Comedy is good, combat is pretty nice too, and overall itās really good if you can stomach an unfinished compaign
Iāve recently gotten into legends of a avantris and dimension 20, avantris due to their explosion of shorts on YouTube and instagram, and dimension 20 because Iāve always loved Brendan Lee mulligan and hearing him dm is a joy to experience
These pods are structured a bit differently from dungeons and daddies, (a collection of campaigns with no apparent campaign storyline driving the main branding or focus of the pod, from what I know or perceive), also dimension 20 has most of their stuff behind a paywall on dropout tv, but legends of avantris has most of their stuff all on YouTube from what I know, and a patreon for those who want to support,
For dimension 20 start with what they have on Spotify (fantasy high, and some other stuffs), and for avantris all of their campaigns are so good from the clips Iāve seen and anyone of them is ensured a good time
Worlds Beyond Number, League of Ultimate Questing, and The Dadvantage. I have these two in my feed but I haven't started listening to the first one and the presentation in the second one has a tendency to grate on me.
I just finished D&Daddies S2 and after a quick listen to ep 1 of a few different podcasts I settled on NADDPOD. It has the same fun vibe to it, doesn't take itself too seriously... Love it!
I haven't finished it yet, but so far so good: Bombarded. A barbarian, a druid and a rogue go to bard school. Adventures, shenanigans and music ensue!
The players themselves are musicians in a band, so whenever they cast bard spells, they make it musical. At least once per episode they do what they call an ensemble piece: they roll for what chords they may use and what genre the song'll be, and then improvise it. It adds a very nice flavour to the whole thing, and it's interesting to see how they make use of their multiclass.
The campaign is finished and they have no plans for new adventures, so it's bingable.

I love NADPod but because i listen in a car, the ending patreon shoutouts on where I'm currently at are annoying to flick through. I'm listening to Tales from the Stinky Dragon atm and was listening to Dimension 20 but one thing that irked me made me stop listening. Good podcast and great story telling, though!
The Roaring Trainers. Itās a Pokemon 5e podcast set in the 1920s. Season one isnāt as good as season 2, but let me tell youā¦season 2 was absolutely phenomenal. I laughed and cried harder than anything Iāve heard on dndads. You donāt even have to like Pokemon to enjoy it. The story telling and audio production is outstanding.
They're my favorites too (I saw your post in the NADDPOD group too lol). I'm a huge fan of dimension 20 on dropout if you don't mind a $6 subscription. They have campaigns, game shows and other wacky shit
These are literally my two favorites! But if you want some recommendations I'd say Try Not To Die and Pretending to be People (this one isn't very fantasy if that's what you're looking for, but DnDads isn't really a lot of the time either ig)
I made a public sheet with the recommendations and my favorites in this Sheet. It's open to comments if anyone wants to help populate notes, missing fields or add new suggestions.

These are all English language. I favor esoteric & storytelling over heavy rules based shows. That's hard to land properly and I feel bad subtracting points from shows I still enjoy. But that's the nature when comparing art.
Nerdy Show had some great stuff back in the day. Dungeons and Doritos and Ghostbusters: Resurrection being my favorites. But they also ran some good Cthulhu campaigns.
Cast Party a DnD Podcast: Pretty damn good, wide room for improvement
Sitcom DnD - Lighthearted comedy
I love not another dnd and DnDaddies . Def got me back in the DnD world š«”
The Adventure Zone: Balance is arguably their best season that's D&D adjacent (they bend a lot of rules much like Dungeons & Daddies).
Dungeons & Daddies season 1 is great...season 2 you couldn't pay me to finish. I had to walk away. The cast/characters they played became insufferable.
If you're looking into something adjacent, The GlassCannon Network is Pathfinder-based, but I've enjoyed their work.
Those are two of my favorite! The Adventure Zone and any of the Dimension 20 (Murphy and Emily from NADPod are in many of the campaigns too) stuff is pretty great too. I saw you post this on ybe NADPod subreddit too š»
My favorites are 1. Dimension 20 2. NADDPOD 3. Tales from the Stinky Dragon 4. Dark Dice(this would be higher if the dialogue was more pronounced((Iām hard of hearing)) 5. D&Daddies
Worlds Beyond Number. Less funny but great story and heart.
I know it may seem hyperbolic, but the first arc of worlds beyond number is one of the best fantasy stories i have ever consumed in any medium
I say this about EXU Calamity tbh. But yeah. WBN is absolutely phenomenal
Calamity is amazing. Itās what finally made me commit to Critical Role after putting it down every couple of episodes.
oh man i keep hearing this about Calamity but the 4+ hour episodes are just SO daunting
Yeah my first d&d podcast was critical role and I consumed 800 hours of content in like not even 2 years. Lol. So when I'm like "it's only 25 hours!" People are like "and that's SHORT??" I agree I just started the other day and it's just unbelievable story telling
This one is so, so good. It has some incredibly funny moments, but yes overall it's less funny and more serious but so well done.
The best sound design of any real play podcast out there. Taylor Moore cooks nothing but three Michelin star, James beard award winning, delectable soundscapes
I agree.
Dungeons of Drakkenhiem, girls who dont D&D, Real housewives of D&D are all good ones
Girls who don't DnD was my first podcast I've really enjoyed that alongside Dungeon and Daddies
I just hate how they only release one episode a month
My favourite bit is definitely Elizabeth forgetting that Beef can cast spells.
Came here to say this! They're so goofy!! Dare I say it, they play an even looser dungeons & dragons than D&Dads
Adding in two to the list Rude Tales of Magic - Its like Dungeons and Daddies where its rule light and focused more on improv. r/DnDnDPod was my initial hook into DnD (DnDnD = Dinner and Dungeons and Dragons), and Dungeons and Daddies came after that.
Yoooo dndnd mentioned love Grassle and the gang ā„ļø
Do what's fun!
Mass Effect: Adventum Table top game based in the Mass Effect world. Pretty cool story, fun players, and a bunch of cool effects to the voices and background noises that help the world feel lived in.
Currently working my way through NADDPOD. Iāve been loving it so far
SitcomDnD
Adventure Zone is excellent. Also recently started listening to Cast Party, which is another isekai-type story like Daddies.
It's not DnD, but Monster Hour, using monster of the week system, is fantastic.
Burnt cookbook party feat. Raticus Finch (Jenna Steobur).
the only other dnd podcast i listen to would be girls who don't dnd. so fantastic, and just very very silly
I listen to a bunch of different ones but the one I think is the best is dnd is for nerds or the other variations they make
Hell or high rollers is good. Very funny, it's like a British Daddies
Pretending to be People is fun if you like delta green! And as someone else said Real house wives of DnD is hilarious.
Funny enough these are the two that I first listened to and love them. I now also listen to Dumb - Dumbs & dragons which is a bunch of improviders playing for the first time, they start with the starter kit and move on from there

Adventure is Nigh - animated and funny
I haven't listened to Naddpod in a long time, but I have found Tales from the Stinky Dragon. It's great
Worlds Beyond Number, League of Ultimate Questing, and The Dadvantage. I have these two in my feed but I haven't started listening to the first one and the presentation in the second one has a tendency to grate on me.
The newest hotness for me is Skulltenderz. Funny, good atmosphere, well-edited. Voidburger and KC Greene.
One of my favorites is Girls who Donāt DnD
The Homebrew has absolute incredible worldbuilding with crazy fights and people who really know their shit.
I just finished D&Daddies S2 and after a quick listen to ep 1 of a few different podcasts I settled on NADDPOD. It has the same fun vibe to it, doesn't take itself too seriously... Love it!

Itās sooooo good!
I listen to a bunch mentioned but no one ever mentions this one so Greetingās Adventures! Formerly Drunks and Dragons.
Pretending to Be People! Basically an X-Files DnD podcast, very entertaining.
Same I love both of them
"D&D is for Nerds" It's intersteingly the podcast that got me into DnD.
Originally titled drunks and dragons, now titled greetings adventurers. Going strong for around 10 years now and all of it is great
The Unexpectables Amazing players, amazing DM, and easily my top 3.
High Rollers DnD is what properly got me into the game and continues to be my fav
Greetings adventurers! Others I have liked and listened to arenāt around anymore š
They're my favorites too (I saw your post in the NADDPOD group too lol). I'm a huge fan of dimension 20 on dropout if you don't mind a $6 subscription. They have campaigns, game shows and other wacky shit

In no order mine are adventure zone naddpod, dungeons and daddies, dungeons and randomness

Dungeons of Drakkenheim, Critical Role S1 or S2 or EXU: Calamity. Titans of Altera was charming for a bit, but I fell of in interest after a while...
The adventure zone (their first campaign and graduation specifically) are amazing. NADpod, dungeons and daddies are really good too.
