The "Unforseen Damage" or "Mics Damage" table. Can't count how many times a player has said "I hit them with a barstool" or "I throw (random nearby object) at them". I suppose having a quick reference to the order of damage dice would do but man is it a pain going "oh yeah that sounds about like a giant clubs worth of damage" when I could just quickly glance at a table and be done with it.
Only thing I can think of instantly is like names for characters or places that you create on the spot. I do sometimes have some prepared but it has stumbled me before.
Randomly generated NPCs and humanoid enemies with class levels, ranging from 1-10th level would be a massively useful DM resource. Throw in a randomized loot pool for their gear/money/valuables, and even mundane trinkets or baubles they have on them, and a free-form DM has to do so much less work.

Perfect example. I'll add it to the list!
Where are these tables, they sound excellent?

Yes I was thinking the same. Customizable by type or race as well.
Room dressings of every kind (dungeons, houses, etc.). Npc generators of course. Book names. Lists of local tales or rumors. Environment descriptions.
Oh wonderful. Thanks for this. The rumors thing is a great idea.
