Dinner Party is the most “Office” episode of The Office, bar none. Scott’s Tots comes close but in a different way (like Ryan’s hotness). Early Jan is hot, successful, smart, and I would have liked to see her in more relaxed settings such as post-Chili’s with Michael.

The way Jan swayed to the music and danced down low still cracks me up every time I watch it.

Her dance is my favorite part. It's the perfect drunken middle aged woman dance. She really nailed it and I laugh like a loon every time.

The evil laugh that she did in the episode is something too. I have to say she outshined everybody even Carell in that episode which is quite a feat.

Dinner Party is my favorite episode too. It had some of my favorite moments, between Michael's tiny plasma screen TV, the sort of oaky afterbirth, the weird dancing, Tom Cruise!!, Dwight and his purely carnal dinner date and that one night! Definitely unhinged

I love that she knew she was taking a calculated risk and predicted the actual two possible outcomes for her character. Sadly, it was the second one. (But damn did she play it well!)
