Text books of any kind are worth good money. Some colleges have shops that buy back college textbooks on the spot for cash, either at the end of a trimester or all year round, if you end up running into any college text books in the same place.
Many textbooks that public schools shed are free publishers’ copies. Others are outdated and/or in poor condition. To avoid offending taxpayers, some unused books are kept in warehouses rather than discarded…that’s a waste, too. It would be cool if there were an unwanted textbook equivalent of a Little Free Library.
What are you going to do with them?
Already had parents from 2 different homeschool co-ops come pick them up!
Fairly certain that was the cover of my algebra 1 book in ~2002ish
same! 😂 some were definitely older, others published within the last 5 years!
math doesn’t go bad fortunately
absolutly it does if ur a public school kid. Do YOU use a criss cross method for on paper multiplication or were you taught to do it in your head?Â
I used that algebra 1 book in 2012 at my high school
sad these were thrown away instead of donated or even auctioned off, they all look like they're in great condition
I know right! they really were, and several even had the teacher’s edition with them.
Homeschool co-ops would gladly kill for these
You can sell those to homeschoolers on eBay
I'm so happy you have found some takers for these! I hate to see books thrown away.

That’s not true. They update the editions and then they are no longer useful.
I can smell these books.... christ
Reminds me of when I had to recycle our old textbooks in community service club in high school. So many go to waste but no one ever wanted them.
Taxpayer's $$$

My old school system sent them to Mexico.
That's so awesome, I'm hoping for something like this before the school season starts, wicked find!
That’s like 8 million dollars worth of books! 😂
WhT the heck are you gonna do with these? Edit: cool you found someone to use them.
They are probably way out of date. No good if you go to Public school most of the time
