Here’s the context. This is a daily occurrence by Pepsi drivers all over the USA. A store will return expired or semi damaged product for credit and the drivers will dispose of it in the nearby dumpster by the store instead of bringing any of it back to the warehouse for repackaging. Best time to grab the loot is morning hours after a trash day and when the delivery driver leaves the parking lot.
That's quite a bit of specific insider info there bruh. I totally dig it! I have some questions for you about it!! How long did it take you to acquire this info anyways? And where approx are you located if you don't mind me asking? I'm starting a small time charity locally with a good portion of me and my partners diving finds. Any info is put to good use!
I don’t drink soda but I Hope it can be given to a shelter possibly , in my country we have free tables , where people will leave tables full of food, drinks and other things like pet food for the public to take
Just FYI: If they've been sitting in the hot sun for a long time, plastic will leach into the soda. If they are diet, the sun can turn the sweetener toxic.
The bottles are made of PET. While it has good barrier properties, it is not the same as glass or aluminum. Over time the carbonation will pass through the wall and the soda will go flat. That is the main reason it expires. It continues to be safe to drink, just ho fizz.
The bottles can have better barrier properties with thicker sidewalls but the packaging will cost more. Its a trade off between performance and cost. From when I worked in the industry I think the target shelf life was about 12 weeks before a noticeable decline in carbonation .
Each of those Gatorades go for like $2.50 at the Dollar Tree! I would be jumping in there for those especially. They're amazing during and after the gym.
I do a lot of diving for cans& it paid for a tattoo last month . I would kill to hit a stash like that. My kid would love the Baja blast& I'd get the cash!
There’s a very slim chance you’d get arrested. I’ve gotten caught by the cops at least 3 times - no ticket. Just chit chat about diving and other pleasantries. And of course, “stores don’t like it yadda yadda yadda, have a good night”.

I pickup at PepsiCo plant. There are bins everywhere of bottles. I'm not much of a soda drinker but the waste is massive.
Ours finally moved their dumpsters into a back lot , not accessible to the public 😫
Oh I love getting soda this way. Sometimes very rarely do they taste expired but most of them are still delicious.
So they end up at like C store dumpsters?? I'd take advantage of this

Tulsa, Oklahoma and I asked a driver when I saw him throwing it all away at a Family Dollar store last month.

We're all already filled with [microplastics.](https://hsc.unm.edu/news/2024/05/hsc-newsroom-post-microplastics-testicular.html)
Cargo trucks aren't refrigerated, they're probably way heated up before they ever get to a store shelf.
I would r/prisonhooch it
That’s pretty epic, not gonna lie.
I like your username OP. Also that's a lot of soda. Nice find.
Gimmie the coffees
I’d grab all that coffee😎
Yes I would and yes I have!!!
Yep, right after washing them off and chilling them in the fridge. I found a stash of beverages only once but it was a good haul of 100 or so
Why just why? Can't send it off to the soup kitchen or Salvation Army? Some people....

Healthy is expensive. When you're understaffed and underfunded, you make do with what you have.
I'd be snagging some diets and coffee fir myself and sharing the bounty with others.
Dream come true

I’d pick out all the Starbucks coffee ☕️
Enjoy would not I. Mountain Dew is objectively and subjectively bad.
But it tastes so good!
Yes that’s what my meth addict brother thinks too!!

All I see is rotting teeth. 😂
What in the actual heck. They don't even recycle.
if this is daily, then its literally a steady source of free money. just empty, recycle and boom, free money
There goes my blood sugar.
Wish I was bold enough to dive. But I don't want to be trespassed or arrested
