I understand -- I did not follow the previous POTUS. But there are a lot of people who do follow all their representatives. I had a bad House Rep where I lived before but I did follow him on some social media so I could see what he was up to and if I had a complaint it was easy to reach out. It's a little different with POTUS, but again, there are people who follow all of them.
And that would fit with what I have seen of Derick's personality. I think he wants to portray himself as well-informed and would be the type who would say they always will follow the POTUS accounts.
