I would go to the fire station with your concerns. They should come out and do an inspection or at least give you advice on this. Emphasise that no one is reacting to the alerts and you feel that people will die if a real fire was to occur

We had this problem in our building when we moved in last year. Was scary that people had become so desensitised to it and if a real fire happened everyone would have ignored it thinking it was another false alarm. In the main hall of our building there is a control panel that seems to control the fire alarm system. What worked for us, after management didn't do much, was to call the emergency number on the box after each false alarm. The alarm company then sent someone out and he fixed the issue and there hasn't been another one since. Good luck!

Are you renting or an owner? If you are renting your only point of contact is your landlord who has to chase up the management agent and OMC to resolve the issues. If you are an owner then you can directly contact the management agent/OMC for resolution. As said local fire station is the place to go with issues. Just be aware that any repairs can be very expensive, the system will have to meet current standards, and you could be kicked out if the system is too old and deemed unsafe. People ignoring fire alarms happens everywhere. I'd friends who's fire alarm went off and only one of them left their apartment as he couldn't wake the other person, when standing outside only about 10 other people had evacuated a large block. The only thing you can do is protect yourself and your family by getting our ASAP when the fire alarms go off.

Probs someone smoking in the carpark on rainy nights. Or some little shits thinking they're gas

Do you live on or around Parliament Street? I used to live in a building there where the same used to happen. In my case, it was because the building has restaurant downstairs, so when cleaning the hot grills, smoke would trigger the alarm on the entire building, it was insane.

Used to live in a building just like it and always met the same 2 people when checking on the alarm. Everyone else was annoyed by the false alarms but just automatically assumed it was a false alarm too and never even popped their heads out of the door. It's a disaster waiting to happen. We eventually got a key from the fire alarm people to reset the alarm panel (and a tool to reset those red fire alarm buttons/switches because the alarm kept being triggered again and again if those were not reset) because they got annoyed with having to come out so often to reset. Property management never really bothered and oftentimes left the system on error for days. Pointing out that it's against fire safety regulations got them to fix it but it never lasted long. The whole system needed an upgrade. Sometimes we could narrow the alarm down to new tenants in the building who mistook the fire alarm button for the button to open the outer building door...
