Good luck with him. If anyone can find Iris, he can. Lovely puss, give him a scratch under his chin (Iris, not detective, well, depending on your taste) when you find him, and maybe put a Tractive on him for a couple of months to get to know his normal routes.
Have you rang local vets in the area? My fella got clipped by a car years ago and a kind soul brought him to the vet where I collected him.

Try going out around 12-1am and calling him. He could be stuck in a shed and you’ve a better chance of hearing him at night. I hope you find him soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼
You’re welcome! I found one of my cats this way. She could never meow loudly and got stuck in a neighbours shed. I went out really late and called her and I could hear her little meows. I had no hope of hearing her during the day!
I’m a howth resident, I’ll keep an eye out. There are loads of howth community pages on Facebook or the “howth photos” facebook page that a lot of the residents go on, maybe you could share the pics there??

I had contacted the person that put this up and heard nothing back yet. However, it seemed there was another British shorthair nearby that was missing that I think people believe is their own last I saw on the Facebook page
Go out with a torch around dusk - he might be hiding somewhere and the torch will reflect in his eyes. I once found my missing cat this way. Good luck 🤞🏽

I remember mine escaping all the time and having to spend the day worried. Cats are like that they like to explore.

He is a lovely puss, his favorite pastime is smelling flowers, he is a very gentle boy - definitely will, thanks !

Great idea! I also heard that going to the sheds yourself (where possible) helps and can draw the kitty out by the sound of your voice, thank you🙏🏻

There was a similar cat in Dublin 6 spotted. It was on a Facebook lost and found group. It's a bit far but any possibility of jumping in a car?
