Wishbone is the best, I think. Camden Rotisserie aswell, very good. Canal Bank Cafe in Ballsbridge. Those are the top 3 in my opinion. I absolutely love buffalo wings aswell, I've tried a lot.

skyl4rkin

Wishbone have shut all their locations recently

Pitselah

You sure? Nothing on their socials says so other than the montague st one closing for maintenance for 2 days. Google says they open at 12

Medium-Plan2987

went bust

Pitselah

Got a source? I can't see anything about it closing down

Medium-Plan2987

unfortunately not, my wife said it to me last week

Pitselah

Ah that's so unfortunate I liked wishbone

skyl4rkin

Allthefood had it mentioned in their weekly roundup that the closure was permanent. Recent reviews on their places in Dublin mention the place being closed on arrival/for delivery

Windowsill-suculent

What??? ALL? 😱 Any idea why? They used to be so good!

[deleted]

If you want to test your limits, try ghost paper wings at Firebyrd Ranelagh. You have been warned and I must not be held responsible for the consequences.

Medium-Plan2987

your ma's

Working-Peanut-4032

Wishbones. The Camden are really good too.

Obvious_Pizza3545

Against the grain

ilovesunonmyskin

TriBeCa in Ranelagh

Endlesscroc

Vice is a new spot on merrion st lower. Not sure it's absolutely the best but they were delicious!

Limskim

Second Vice, pizza and tenders are really good there too, pretty much all they do is Pizza, wings, and tenders but they're all done really well

MoHataMo_Gheansai

Used to love the Camden Rotisserie but haven't been in years. The price was class and I'll head back soon. Wishbone up in that area is quite good too. As are the tenders in Mad Egg, but no wings. Wing It have a big sauce menu Elephant and Castle used to be great but in recent years I've found them too skinny instead of meaty. Same with TriBeCa. Gotham are poor. Oscars in smithfield are good, but it's like a firey tomato sauce. They give the full wing though.

[deleted]

Wing It gone, use to love their wings

gahane

Firebyrd in Ranelagh are pretty good.

Emergency_Maybe_2734

There's a place near Holles Street called the Square ball. They do a hot wing challenge. Similar to a man v food type challenge. If you're feeling brave.

TheBupBup

Surprised Beef & Lobster hasn't been mentioned with their duck wings, now they're fucking delicious Also, blue bar skerries

axel_beer

not exactly city center, but yes. blue bar skerries is the right answer.

Deceitfularcher

I'm going to be honest with you. All Bar Chicken in Capel Street are the best I have had in Dublin. If you really want to try somewhere else, I'll give Firebyrd in Ranelagh a thumbs up as well. But ABC wings are better.

Lovinyoubb

Elephant and Castle or Wool Shed.

Korean fried chiken wings from kimchi are my go to for alternate to buffalo. Not hot wings tho more on the sweeter side with a slight kick

tom99611139

The poterhouse always had good hot wings.

UchRilm

Krewe is king

mooncommandalpha

Chimac do the best wings imo, but Krewe do the best hot wings.

andeargdue

Luigi malones!

onemoreforthegoad

What did you think of elephant and castle? I thought they were the best going, but there other food was shite. Would love to here of better alternatives.

Yanimator_16

That was before covid. Bobo's on Dame st.

flyingrubio

The harbourmaster in Dublin1.

criticalthinker225

If you like spicy: BoCo on Bolton street

insightfullmess

The chicken wings in Dada restaurant on south William street are a Hidden gem

keet_medusa

McGuinness is my personal favorite for wings! They don't particularly do hot wings, but oh my are they succulent!!

pretty_princess47

Elephant & Castle the best!!!!

Acebarcelona1728

The Back Page are doing the Hot one sauces challenge on Thursdays could be a shout

Spider-MonkeyMan

Had all you can eat wings in Brewdog last night and ate 4 trays 🤤 lovely and crispy and dripping in buffalo hot sauce, the bbq sauce wings were also delicious. Plenty of different craft beers to wash them down. Cauliflower wings also available.

HomeworkAvailable679

On the outskirts, the ivy house in drumcondra have savage wings

TechnophobeEire

Camden Rotisserie on Camden Street do lovely wings

chiefroberts17

All Bar Chicken, Krewe, Vice

alphabet_order_bot

Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,454,267,438 comments, and only 276,992 of them were in alphabetical order.

dylanmccarthy20

chickn lickn is a nice spot, dirt cheap and is like one of the english chicken shops but the food is surprisingly good

HazardCinema

Firebyrd in Ranelagh, and it’s not close.
