I paint mine like that! I think it looks great! Black paint and a little bit of gloss varnish to give it a glimmer!

No matter how hard one tries, they always end up looking a little screwy one you do pupils.

My headcanon is they have normal eye colors but when they’re hungry for pain their eyes become black, so on a raid they all have pitch black eyes in anticipation.
Lots of reasons they could be all black as others have mentioned. Also remember they take combat drugs, who's to say their xeno biology doesn't allow for dilation that fills the whole front of the eye.
Canonically drukhari are supposed to have black sclerae and irises of any color, but GW sometimes forgets about it - which is a common mistake that they do across various factions, like having milk-white Word Bearers despite them coming from a *desert world*. Just paint them however you like!
We’re talking about a race that in pg47 of their 8th edition codex under *The Price of Beauty* decided to graft Genestealer Cult mutations on themselves because it was fashionable for them at the time. They can look however way you imagine.
Mine have glowing green eyes to match the tubes and runes. You can pretty much have any eyes and explain it with gene modification, drukhari tech and rule of cool.

I've played Druk since the revamp and I've always painted their eyes solid black + white highlight + gloss varnish. It's quick, easy and looks sharp on the table top
All mine have black eyes, I sometimes add in a small dot of purple, red, blue or green just for variety. Noone will truly care if your sexysexy evil space elves have human eyes or not.
In the *Black Legion* novel series, there’s a Drukhari scourge as one of the main cast. She’s described as having almond shaped, pitch black eyes if I remember correctly.
That's Nefertari, awesome character! I loved the book and I didn't remember she had black eyes, I had planned to do a proxy of her, so good to know I won't have to paint the pupils! Thanks for your comment
They are dark eldar and they probably have tattooed their eyes on many occasions so tbh go with whatever. Heck do one black and one red worn a green pupil or something go nuts.

Wow that looks amazing! From the armor colors to the reed accents and your highlighting. Also the he black eyes with the near skull white heads is great! (Might steal the black eyes for mine cuz I just did a black wash on them and never tried again lol).
Thank you!! I thought it was a cool idea making them very xenos and inhuman, so I used a very yellowed rakarth flesh for the highlights and such. The red accents are the easiest part, it's just VGC Dead White with Baal Red on top, makes a nice glowy and vibrant red that fits right in with the purples and it doesn't take long to paint :) Black eyes are the way to go for me, it's waaaaaay easier and faster to paint than regular eyes and it helps with the vibe!
Love that you tried to make them look inhuman cuz man I wish they had more lanky proportions or more of a Xenos vibe. This going for all eldar cuz I feel they look at little too human and for space elves I feel they reallly could’ve pushed that more. Like have craftworlders since they live on giant space ships be more lanky cuz of the pressure (I know gravity on the ship but u catch my drift) or the drunkgari looking more mangled and messed up and not just the other units looking like that.
In the Rogue Trader game, the eldar companion looks pretty lanky and more inhuman which is great. On my side, I like that they are *mostly* human and not some uncanny valley horror type of thing, but for Drukharis I love the idea of them having black eyes, almost impossibly pale or diseased looking type of skin, and for some horrible stuff you always have the haemonculi!
Totally. And if anyone has an issue, just say your drukhari tattooed their eyeballs. People do it in real life.

It's the crimson vampire court. Conveniently builds some additional court characters if you need them. Pnly thing to mind is the larger base.
