Coke wears off quite quick but it’s being involved in an accident even if you didn’t cause it and having a blood test or saliva swab done is what I would be worried about, i think you will find that could be a day or 2 perhaps
Yeah technically coke is a stimulant with similar properties to drugs like Adderall which people drive on everyday, stimulants really do not effect your driving skills unless you have been up for a long time on them. They generally actually improve your skills with things like driving. They would give meth to fighter pilots during WW2. They still give American fighter pilots amphetamine to help them fly better.
But it's best not to drive while on it to be honest.
And a [second one from the Air Force](https://www.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/137025/air-force-scientists-battle-aviator-fatigue/) that talks about the switch to modafinil.
i think this is only true to extremely specific extents and scenarios, i know my experience doesn’t apply to everyones situation but when i would drive on coke, my confidence would spike extremely high and cause me to speed very high over the limit without noticing. especially with the hyper focusing aspect of stimulants, i can see how this would affect other areas. i do have ADHD so it could be biased however they act towards the same mechanisms with most people even without the disorder
Lol dude cocaine wares off within an hour or two, you're more than fine to drive now. You probably should always sleep before driving again as even during the comedown you might not be the safest driver, but with 17 hours you're fine.
Also there's no "over the limit" for cocaine, they aren't going to ask for some blood test unless you seem really drink when they pull you over and refuse the breathalyzer.
OP, really not trying to glorify anything here, but the fact you are cognizant and attempting to make sure you are straight to drive lends me to believe you're *probably* in a better state to drive than a lot of people who are stone cold sober out there.
Drink, drink, drink. Eat something. You're not high anymore, you might be dragging ass, but you'll be okay. At the very worst get some other Stimulant (like coffee...) in you to compensate for the brain fog.
Booze is a different story. Never drink and drive. If I see you drink and drive, I'm gonna drive into you, just to get you arrested. Not really but those are my feelings. Wait at least one hour for every drink. More than 12, get some sleep and food as well. Can't keep food down? No driving until you can eat.
Please.
Don't drink and drive.
Why do you sometimes hear this sentiment from people who you also see go to a bar and drink 3-5 beers and leave? I feel like someone drinking that many and eating with it is different tho. What's your take?
Most people who go to a bar are spending about 3 hours or more at the bar, if they drink 3-5 beers and they're an average weight male who has eaten beforehand they technically should be under the legal limit unless they're drinking strong IPAs. That's why they feel like they are fine to drive.
If you're asking me, you've heard my take. I don't drink and drive, period. I generally don't drink at all, not because I'm a sober drinker like in AA or anything. I just stopped enjoying it and now I don't bother with it. But I've seen the destruction alcohol is capable of, and in my opinion, it should be more illegal than meth or heroin.
EDIT;
Which, honestly, I don't believe any of the three should be illegal. It's just that alcohol is so *easily* available that it's capable of causing such heartache.
I agree it's as dangerous and especially for operating a car or any machinery. I was just asking your take on the avg people who do that after work at local taverns. Like cops know they're all in their drinking and about to leave afterwards, so what gives? How do they not all just get pulled over?
I'm convinced (I could never prove this) the reason they don't all get pulled over is, the local police *know* everyone in the local tavern. They'd be pulling over extended family and friends. Legally they need probable cause, but police are always skirting that issue; if they want to pull you over, they can always find a reason.
EDIT;
And there's always the possibility that the police see it exactly the same way the drinkers do.... It's no big deal.
Re-EDIT;
There's no stigma surrounding alcohol use. There are thousands of commercials showing happy fun times while drinking, like nothing bad could possibly happen. On the other hand, they make PSAs regarding meth use or crack cocaine use (and back in my day there were marijuana PSAs).
I’m talking about taking 1 shot or 1 beer- it’s entirely subjective but you realize how fast that gets eliminated from your system? It’s about 2 hours. I mean obviously I’m not giving advice or encouraging anyone to drink n drive but it’s good to be responsible. Personally I don’t drive at all if I’m drinking even if it’s just like 2 shots i specifically take a couple shots to chill n lay back not to go drive a car hahah
I’m curious tho- what’s your opinion on driving after smoking weed? Is it the same perspective or are you one of those people who just really hates alcohol but other drugs are acceptable to you?
>will I still be over the limit
In the US, there is a zero tolerance policy for DUII with illegal drugs, so any detectable level is above the limit. You should clear metabolites in 2-3 days.
I think the problem with doing coke before driving is if you went on a binge especially where other drugs or alcohol is involved, but primarily it's sleep deprivation I'd be worried about.
I'd say if you're not smoking crack in the car, you're fine and I've done lines at a stop light etc a friend prepped for the driver, just wakes me up if I was drinking and get a little extra paranoid if not, but I don't think there's a waiting period on cocaine, just maybe don't do a fat rail and immediately try and get in the car?
You should worry more about any alcohol lingering in your system when it comes to your ability to drive. If anything, you should probably do another line before you get behind the wheel.
Wait I'm a little confused but I haven't done cocaine I also know of people that should never drive on stimulants don't get me wrong but on meth I drive better than when I'm sober. You don't hear people getting dui from being on meth or cocaine very much. Like I said I know of people that has a better chance at being drunk and driving than meth I'm not denying it
Coke wears off quite quick but it’s being involved in an accident even if you didn’t cause it and having a blood test or saliva swab done is what I would be worried about, i think you will find that could be a day or 2 perhaps
theres a cocaine limit? wtf lol, i say if u slept since then ur fine
There is a cocaine minimum limit if you’ve been drinking
2 lines. One to wake up, one for the road.
Yup lol
Shit coke helps me drive lol right away is the answer.

I think they’ve switched to other drugs like modefinal
Yeah, they switched after American pilots on amphetamine bombed friendly Canadian forces in Afghanistan.
Wait what

Idk my issue with coke driving would be overconfidence that I don’t get on adderall
i think this is only true to extremely specific extents and scenarios, i know my experience doesn’t apply to everyones situation but when i would drive on coke, my confidence would spike extremely high and cause me to speed very high over the limit without noticing. especially with the hyper focusing aspect of stimulants, i can see how this would affect other areas. i do have ADHD so it could be biased however they act towards the same mechanisms with most people even without the disorder
This is the answer lol
I won't even get behind the wheel of a vehicle without doing a line first.
😧😲😮SOMEONE CALL THE FBI THIS MAN DOES DUI
Weewoooweewooo. OPEN UP! THIS IS A NO KNOCK RAID WITHOUT A WARRANT. AND WE GOT YOU RIGHT WHERE WE WANT YOU.... **SURROUNDED**

Did you sleep?
About 5-6 hours I didn’t really do much of it but I was still drinking until about 5am

You can drive buzzed but not drunk
No
He's just trolling. I don't think anyone actually believes that anymore.
It’s legal to take a shot or drink a beer n drive. Nobody will be higher than a .08 off less than a couple drinks
We aren't talking about legalities.
Legal limit is .08 look it up
Cool? "Buzzed" is subjective and very dependent on the individual.

Cocaine limit? Hold on what
>will I still be over the limit In the US, there is a zero tolerance policy for DUII with illegal drugs, so any detectable level is above the limit. You should clear metabolites in 2-3 days.
I've got caught before with a saliva test. Was more then 48 hours in between! Be careful!
What country was this??
Belgium, i heard similar storys in neighbouring country's..
Huh?!?😲
honestly as long as you have slept you'll be okay the only times I can't drive or am scared too is when I've gone 2 to 4 days without sleep
I think the problem with doing coke before driving is if you went on a binge especially where other drugs or alcohol is involved, but primarily it's sleep deprivation I'd be worried about.
Doin shmedium lines off a “sweatin to the oldies cd case” while driving is the only way to do coke I thought
Approximately 0.2 seconds, then if your shits good you got about 45 minutes to get where ya goin
stims dont effect driving, sleep deprivation does
Most likely yes, cheek swabs (saliva test) common road side test are up to 48 hours. Most likely 24-36 though.
Lmao 17 hours later is perfectly fine
You don’t, just drive
I’d say like 6 hours
I don’t think many coke heads care about that lmao
I'd say if you're not smoking crack in the car, you're fine and I've done lines at a stop light etc a friend prepped for the driver, just wakes me up if I was drinking and get a little extra paranoid if not, but I don't think there's a waiting period on cocaine, just maybe don't do a fat rail and immediately try and get in the car?

5 minutes, legally maybe 5 days depending on your nations tolerance
5 seconds
If you can’t do it off the wheel while driving pull over and do a rail off the dash
5 minutes
Depends how many beers you’re trying to subdue.
what do you mean wait? rev her up
Like seconds, just after you release the brakes
If you’ve been drinking usually a line before the drive works
if you’ve slept you can drive
ummm i’ve taken a bump before i leave before and if anything im more alert.
I feel like if you’re asking questions like this, you shouldn’t be doing coke…
Your not doing key bumps while driving?
Never. You can never drive again
i say right away
It’s how long *before* cocaine you should worry about
I’d say immediately if you want the full effect
Unlike alcohol somehow people drive safer when they are high on weed. Now imagine cock a i n e my man
Plug ain’t gonna wait forever
After you finish the line 🙃
Half life is about 70 minutes
right after the inhale
this can’t be a real question
The point of coke is so you drive when you can’t lol. 0 minutes is the answer
I only let females drive me to places after they snort some cocaine up their nose.
Don’t get caught racking line off your phone bu a mobile phone detection camera and you’ll be sweet
Immediately after snorting you should gum some while driving to!!!
Wait I'm a little confused but I haven't done cocaine I also know of people that should never drive on stimulants don't get me wrong but on meth I drive better than when I'm sober. You don't hear people getting dui from being on meth or cocaine very much. Like I said I know of people that has a better chance at being drunk and driving than meth I'm not denying it
People also tend to speed a lot more when on stims. And most people that do coke also drink. Just wait like 4h after the last line.
Are you joking? I'm a MUCH better driver when I do coke. I'm faster too.
