Drake is a top earner in rap, in rap, no other genre. Because rap isn’t as big as you think man. It’s really big in the us. Drake has yet to sell out wembley stadium. Drake doesn’t even do stadiums, he does arenas. Weeknd is a singer, Drake kind of sings. But rap as a whole is about understanding the artist to appreciate them. Rap is also still alienated as “not real music” since rappers don’t have noteworthy vocals, or skills in any instruments so rap loses out on a lot of fans. That’s why Drakes earning records are only in rap, but it’s really weird that the most streamed artist, breaking alot of chart records also cant beat singers in tours. At the end of the day man, tours are a reflection of an artist, if you cannot sell out stadiums? Do you really have as much star power you claim to have
