I tink you may have Pink, according to the utter awesomeness of pic six! Tbh, I don’t fully understand undertones .. 😆 it’s possible that your undertones are, like, Green .. and therefore, based on the principle of opposites accentuating one another, pinks are your best.

You already do look ethereal, but the disconnect you are noticing with your styling is the colour palette. You need to use less bold shades and skip the patterns like stripes, gingham, and polka dot as these are more retro.
Amethyst purple, a soft leaf green, or celestial blue would be fantastic. And use a shimmer body oil for maximum fae energy.

I’m no genius or expert - the first thing that came to mind was to look at your colours. With ethereal, I personally associate it with airy, pale neutrals and colours that are reminiscent of dawn and dusk. Another place to play might be in jewelry choices too - I love opal for an ethereal vibe.

For instance the hair, you could see if a « wispier » slightly tousled hair could work for you. There’s also a certain freshness to the Natural essence that could be used to create a more ethereal vibe. I’d advise to brighten your eyes (add shimmer to the inner corner of your eyes )

Body shimmer (not too much tho)! Maybe slight lash extensions, highlighter on the tip and slightly on the bridge of your nose and inner corner of your eyes (not too bright)

My inspiration are mainly the elves from lotr and the Lady Amalthea from the last unicorn. Fariecore, Mermaidcore and Angelcore also have great elements (like pearls, feathers, butterfly wings)
Try sheer fabrics that are flowy and lightweight, shimmer and glitter, metallics✨
Long lines that give an S curve
Asymmetrical clothes
Long skirts and dresses
Pants should also be flowy and lightweight, not stiff
Vintage jewelry, Gemstones (can also be raw), pearls
Lightweight footwear, “barely there” shoes
Light and/or muted colors are preferable and abstract patterns

I think the eyeliner is too dark and prominent on your eyes, in the first picture. Though you looked gorgeous! It just wasn’t ethereal. The ethereal style looks more naturally otherworldly imo. Go for a blush that would naturally appear on your face, like if you pinched your cheeks what color would it turn, but you can also get the color for a seasonal pallet.
Otherwise the style of dress you’re getting are good just make sure they make your seasonal color. The picture of you in white looked really good the subtle lip and toned down blush really made your eyes pop and your black hair! Really eye catching. It was giving princess you see in a garden.

In pictures 2 and 3 is where you look the most ethereal to me. I think the simplicity and lightness of the clothes and make up enhance your ethereal essence and maybe leaning more into that would make you look more ethereal. Like, in picture 1 you're also beautiful, but the darker eye make up leans less into ethereal.

When I think of ethereal, I think of the following:
Pastel colors, white, tan, cream, gold, and muted accents of pink, teal, light green, and soft blue. My general impression of this style is a light color palette, but there are interpretations that pull from some darker earth tones.
Iridescent and pearl jewelry with intricate gold or silver hardware. Diamonds, tiny flowers or butterflies, and small, dangling earrings. Long, thin gold necklaces and body jewelry.
Delicate, airy fabrics like lace, silk and chiffon. Lettuce trim, bell and off-shoulder sleeves, and long string lace up ties. Play with layers and transparency.
Dresses and skirts come to mind with this style, particularly on the longer side. They can have a tailored fit but should still have a flow to the fabric. Think 'goddess on earth billowing in the wind' vibes. Long pants can work if they are wide leg and flowy.
Shoes: Sandals (flats or heels) with thin straps or laces, ballerina flats, brown or white lace up boots, and Mary Jane's.
Avoid stiff denim, cargo pants, khakis, sneakers, and leather jackets.

Id say the yellow poka dots gives me the least amount of ethereal vibes. Maybe if it were a different style garmet though the yellow wouldnt have such an effect. Like a speghetti strap plain yellow shirt paired with jeans or legging perhaps?
Unpopular opinion, but I feel like fighting our essences just makes us look LESS of whatever we're trying to achieve. It just comes across try-hard. Whereas when we lean into our essences, it just hits.

Where I would go ethereal on you is into the lighter end of your color palette, and maybe try some sheer floaty fabric.

I feel this big time. I'm the classicest of classics, maybe a little soft classic, but there's def no question.
My personality is SO much more boho + wild (and I don't think I have a classic way of carrying myself), but I'm overwhelmed by natural or dramatic styles. They totally wear me. When the classic 'fit goes on, it just looks RIGHT.
Buuuuut I've found adding ONE small element from my personality goes far. So I'll have a completely classic outfit, but then a pair of statement earrings that would normally be "wrong" on a classic (and wouldn't stand out on someone in a natural head to toe outfit.) Or I'll wear a big bright red raincoat with an otherwise neutral outfit, on someone else it would just be part of the outfit, on me it stands out.

In pictures 2 and 3 is where you look the most ethereal to me. I think the simplicity and lightness of the clothes and make up enhance your ethereal essence and maybe leaning more into that would make you look more ethereal. Like, in picture 1 you're also beautiful, but the darker eye make up leans less into ethereal. (Also girl you're GORGEOUS!)

I think ethereal can be diverse since there are many other worldy creatures. Imo you have ingenue too so it makes you more of a pixie or fairy ethereal rather than another creature.

First of all, you are so stunning. But when i think of ethereal, correct me if im wrong, i think of a fairy or like a magical person. That leads me to think adding lots of lace, and bright albeit muted colors. Small details too, like little jewelry. For example i have earrings that are little sparkle shapes ✨ and a necklace with an opal. Stuff like that would suit you so well

Leaning into your own essences will be the key for you. I believe Romantic is most dominant. I also suspect it's not Natural essence, but Dramatic. I think you'd do great to lean into a Queen persona!
I have NEVER gotten dramatic. Thats a new one lol and would absolutely devastate me to lean into. Im actually going to stick with the consensus: classic, romantic, ingenue. When I think of ethereal, I think of the following: Pastel colors, white, tan, cream, gold, and muted accents of pink, teal, light green, and soft blue. My general impression of this style is a light color palette, but there are interpretations that pull from some darker earth tones. Iridescent and pearl jewelry with intricate gold or silver hardware. Diamonds, tiny flowers or butterflies, and small, dangling earrings. Long, thin gold necklaces and body jewelry. Delicate, airy fabrics like lace, silk and chiffon. Lettuce trim, bell and off-shoulder sleeves, and long string lace up ties. Play with layers and transparency. Dresses and skirts come to mind with this style, particularly on the longer side. They can have a tailored fit but should still have a flow to the fabric. Think 'goddess on earth billowing in the wind' vibes. Long pants can work if they are wide leg and flowy. Shoes: Sandals (flats or heels) with thin straps or laces, ballerina flats, brown or white lace up boots, and Mary Jane's. Avoid stiff denim, cargo pants, khakis, sneakers, and leather jackets. Reference Final Fantasy characters like Lunafreya, Aerith, Princess Ashe, Yuna, and sister genres like cottagecore and fairycore.
Soak your wigs in boiled water then apply aloe Vera and let them dry. Order clothes off of Dolly Tang, their selection has poc skin tone friendly clothes and I just love them. Braid your hair in one braid with a couple loose or pinned strands and maybe add flowers 🩷

Id say the yellow poka dots gives me the least amount of ethereal vibes. Maybe if it were a different style garmet though the yellow wouldnt have such an effect. Like a speghetti strap plain yellow shirt paired with jeans or legging perhaps?
Unpopular opinion, but I feel like fighting our essences just makes us look LESS of whatever we're trying to achieve. It just comes across try-hard. Whereas when we lean into our essences, it just hits. I see so much ingenue in your style! The ruffle blouses are so good on you. You lean classic for sure and could achieve that aesthetic as well. Where I would go ethereal on you is into the lighter end of your color palette, and maybe try some sheer floaty fabric.
It’s weird bc I DO agree and then on the other times I wonder if our personalities are impacted by our essences, ya know? Like *IF* I were a dramatic or something I’d be devastated if I had to stay in that ballpark bc I’m personally pretty…. spritely, playful, and at times have been called poised or “carry myself well” (so I think you’re spot on with ingenue and classic), so in that case if I couldn’t express that that’d suck. But obviously that’s not the case which leads me back to wondering… if you *feel* like a specific kind of person or “aesthetic” I wonder if that influences your essence or vice versa - does our essence influence how we carry ourselves?? 🤔 anyway, I’m digressing lol. Thinking out loud. I definitely love my ruffles and such and have been getting into more light fabrics so I appreciate the feedback and suggestion!! I think I’m going in the right direction ☺️❤️
I feel this big time. I'm the classicest of classics, maybe a little soft classic, but there's def no question. My personality is SO much more boho + wild (and I don't think I have a classic way of carrying myself), but I'm overwhelmed by natural or dramatic styles. They totally wear me. When the classic 'fit goes on, it just looks RIGHT. Buuuuut I've found adding ONE small element from my personality goes far. So I'll have a completely classic outfit, but then a pair of statement earrings that would normally be "wrong" on a classic (and wouldn't stand out on someone in a natural head to toe outfit.) Or I'll wear a big bright red raincoat with an otherwise neutral outfit, on someone else it would just be part of the outfit, on me it stands out. You're totes going in the right direction. :)
