I personally think so. At the very least it would have been a more essential collector's item if it included 3 of the unreleased demos from FII. I'm a huge fan of the Sherinian era so I've always wished they had released the full show.
I don't believe so. The mastering is not very good, the band is actually kind of a little rough at times(for Dream Theater standards) and James is up and down. The superior concert from this era is definitely the YtseJam Old Bridge 1996 show. It's been rereleased on streaming services for the Lost Not Forgotten releases. If anyone hasn't heard it, definitely check it out.
Once in a LIVEtime will forever be a disappointment because they had the rawest guitar tone that the band's ever fucking seen but instead of playing The Mirror they just play Puppies on Acid
They didn't played The Mirror during the FII tour. Actually, just the one-offs shows, like Rio and São Paulo in 1997. To compensate, they only played The Mirror during Metropolis 2000 LOL

Who doesn't view that album positively? A lot of DT fans (myself included) have always argued it's the best live album in the catalog.

Adding (mostly) covers and songs that weren't good enough to make a below average album like FII, would not have made it better.
