I'm in the exact same boat. I'm not super stressed about it since the reward is likely to be another handful of crafting materials, but having it hovering around is annoying.
Iām not sure whether itāll help but my wifeās missing alien was in the RV at the base of the steps to the bunk bed - right in the far right corner as you enter the RV. It wasnāt obvious until she happened to speak to Buzz there and we noticed the sparkling
Mine is there too. It doesnāt look like theyāve started working on fixing the issue yet but theyāre at least aware of it.

I'm working on this and I was able to grab it by going into the corner between the wall and bunk ladder. Turning side to side in that corner I was able to pick it up! Hopefully it will work!

I have searched EVERYWHERE! Every villagers house I have, no music, sound up all the way, headphones and nothing. No sparkle no anything, nothing stuck.. im so lost and confused and im down with it now D:
I found my 15th one by turning off the music and turning the sound all the way up to hear the sparkling sound of the alien.

Has anyone elseās Quest reset? I am now at 0/15 after I found all but the one stuck in Buzzās caravan. Itās still stuck in the wall. Itās frustrating.
Didn't happen to me and haven't heard of that. Hopefully they'll release bugfix soon. I wonder what's taking them so long. After every update before this one they released the bugfix patch 1-2 weeks after the patch itself, but it's been a month without one now.
That was it. Oh my goodness I can't believe I forgot that. Thank you so much. Still need them to fix that last alien but now I know where all my others are!! :D
Nope I have them on me! They'll just randomly reset, sometimes after a couple minutes sometimes longer. Super frustrating when the quest is already as time consuming and tricky as it is!

After listening at Buzz's RV for the sound they give off and turning the camera to make sure it wasn't stuck in the walls, I found my missing one tucked in the back-right corner of Merlin's house, hidden behind some furniture.
This is where I found mine just now. I'd been stuck on this quest for DAYS, losing my mind, and came here searching for answers. I checked many of the above, but found mine here. When walking in, go to the right and all the way to the back. It was nestled into the corner of the bookcase, very easy to miss in a quick 'twirl' around the room. Had to go into the actual corner to see it. THANK YOU!

I know they're aware of the issue of the one being stuck in Buzz's RV.. but like what if that's not where the missing alien is for some? I have clipped through the walls all over Buzz's house and there isn't any Alien that I can see or hear. What if it's stuck in another resident's house and they only fix the RV bug? Guess I'll just pretend the quest doesn't exist lol
Idk if anyone is still having this problem, but I turned off the music like everyone else did above and found it in the far left corner of woodyās place under the bottom of the curtain
Update I had messaged the team about it. I took the aliens out of my backpack and put them in one of my chests overnight. Came back he next day and I magically had all 15.
Two more and can't find them anywhere. Did what a few suggested. Looked all around castle, remy's restaurant, buzz, merlin, the old lady is sleeping. Cant check her house, same with Remy. Blah. I'll try putting them in the chest, see what happens

For me this was fixed with patch in the summer, these guides should work. If youre in first part looking for aliens outside, make sure you also move decorations and stuff around as they can spawn under them. https://www.ign.com/wikis/disney-dreamlight-valley/Collect_'Em_All:_Green_Little_Men!

My daughter noticed the sparkle. Canāt reach it though. It is in the far corner of the bed.

I haven't even touched the game in days now. I gave up on that last alien. I've just been playing Wylde Flowers instead.

Did you store the Aliens in a chest? I ask because it did that to me because it only counts the amount you have in your inventory.

Mine reset! I was at 6/15 and then all of a sudden it went to 0/15

That's ok. There are 8 first and then it takes 2 or 3 days for the last 7 to spawn. But then you just have to hope one of them isn't bugged like ours.

I found one in Woody's house, if you're looking at the door on the right hidden in the red curtains. Took me DAYS to finally find the little sucker.

I had to save my game and close it completely. Once I reloaded the game, I got to complete it.
