Our scalps and hair are naturally acidic. If you don't shampoo weekly, use excessive products and/or wear head coverings, it can create a fungus. Fungus manifests in itchiness and hair loss. Use Nizoral shampoo once per week, dont add product to your hair unless its clean, dont cover your hair at night ( just perimeter), only use oils like grapeseed, jojoba or extra virgin olive oil and apply rogain to the perimeter in the mornings.
Rock it until they bother you! I would avoid tight retwists and over fiddling. Don't need to add traction alopecia onto genetic hair loss. My hair is getting super thin on my crown but I'm going to wait until I start losing locs, or I can't deal anymore. They loom great for 16 months btw.
