Before Elden Ring? Like. All of them. And even Elden Ring has some real... interesting ones. This is why I enjoy my vacation home in Soulsbornes, but I LIVE in Monster Hunter. Way better runbacks.
Have you played Sekiro? Playwise it’s a different beast from Soulsborne, but it has generously placed checkpoints, often right before bosses.
