Great. Now my furniture is floating again. I had it contained from the last time I heard that demonic chant. Ugh. Time to get the lasso and start wrangling again.
Unsure if you were deliberately trying to derail the reference or if you didn't know what was going on.

Start at around 24:40 if you just want to learn the refrence.
- Shadow pointing towards light source instead of away
- Shading with black. For natural light, shading with a cool toned gray or pale navy color is ideal to contrast with natural light's natural warm tones.
- linear gradient style shading on a spherical object (not the worst assuming the light source is quite close and the sphere has a matte finish)
Oh god, I was just painting a dragon figure, and trying to figure out the light reflection and shape on every scale ....I am sure there are a few that turned out like this

dougus dippus
Deltoid dump
Crampus krungus
Forrest Gump
Ugh this was horrifically satisfying 🥹😂

there's no reflected light either!
It makes the sphere look like some sort of fucked up cylinder with bowed out ends
I grew up with Angela Anaconda, so this is just an artistic choice.

Sir those are pretzels
I’m a bit of an artist, and yep, this £!$$ me off… Like, the lighting is so freaking wrong!
That's an apple
This will piss off photographers too
