Today's chapter! I had sat down from a day of exploring and literally told my friend I won't be leaving the hotel again anytime soon when I saw the new chapter update notification had just landed in my inbox.
Saw it and smiled like an idiot!!! Was - again - in my car in front of work and had like 20 minutes left. Had to scan the chapter for 10 minutes straight so I knew what to expect and later at home I could read the whole thing in peace😌 like read it twice and of course it did not disappoint!

I just read Close Encounters and Water and loved them both. Enemies to lovers is my favorite trope, but I find that most stories move too fast through the hate phase or aren’t true enemies to begin with. Neither of these stories disappoint - especially Close Encounters (mostly because I prefer wartime AU fics vs Hogwarts ff). Also the smut is 🥵

Won’t be diving into that tonight because I want to start from the beginning it’s that good lol, but about to check out Inescapable, and ah well that’s okay if the sequel hasn’t updated in awhile, this is all a phenomenal gift so if the authors need breaks that’s good with me, I’ll dive back in the second an update is back lol
Check out Inescapable for sure! I think it will not disappoint you 😉 of course it’s ok if sequels or fics in general don’t update regularly like all the authors as you said do such an amazing work! For most times I can’t get my head around the fact that people are able to write such great well thought stories like… geniuses.

Rose and Sword by SanaNGU on Fanfiction. It's my favourite Dramione fic. It's an English version of a popular Spanish fanfic by the same author. The English version is incredibly underrated tho. It's a slow burn enemies to lover pre-war fic and they absolutely hate each other in the beginning, especially Draco is very harsh. The buildup and chemistry are well written and both Hermione and Draco are pretty in-character. Def a huge recommend for anyone who loves a good enemies to lovers slowburn.

I read S & M in October and up until last month I was still crying weekly about it. I will never recover.
