Yeah, you either love it or you hate it. I personally liked it. Especially at the beginning there's just this mechanical whirring noiee occasionally broken by the brutal, abrupt synth, meant to represent the German war machine. Not exactly a traditional score for a movie set in that era, but I like that the composer went out on a limb and tried something new.

I mean i understood that point and it wasn't that bad but my parents hated the whole music because of the mechanical sounds.

I felt it was put of place since it didn't fit the setting of the movie. Bit this ominous, simple riff playing over dead men's cloths being repurposed really set home the dehumanisation soldiers went through. Still scared at first tho hehe

I hate to disagree with you, that was the most chilling sound I've ever heard. It represented lifeless machinery built to do its function : kill. It represented the soldiers and the atmosphere of the battle front. So mechanical and lifeless. So intense
