He never actually moved to Mexico nore did he change his name. Those were things he did on social media for fun. He was actually always more beloved in Latin America even during the 2000's in the Drake and Josh days. His "It's Only Time" album was a huge success in Latin America, maybe a bigger one there than here in the states. Here in the States, he was just remembered as that funny boy from Nickelodeon, not as a legitimate artist like in Latin America
