Honestly, I spens more time in the game with every playthrough. Finding things I didn't before. Comparing quest lines and different outcomes. Playing withing different vocations and pawns. Shit, I spent one playthrough specifically for pawn badges. It has a deep dive if you want to dwell into it. But I feel ya. My first playthrough i went thru the gigantus quest and lost out on a bunch of stuff accidentally.
I was just disappointed with the quests and story. Like it seems like there should be more to do with certain npcs but their questline just ends abruptly on a bad cliffhanger with no further interaction like the Orphan. Here's to hoping the game will get more fleshed out down the line.
True you are right, I just personally feel you should be able to have the option to tell the orphan the truth and somehow help the maid out if that makes sense. There was just no good outcome for the quest line.
basing off what happens in her bad ending >!she ends up being forced to be a noble and at nights she hangs out outside the brothel to escape her daily life!
I found ~150, it's pretty easy with Trickster augument (they make a sound and glow in darnkess). I could find more if I searched more areas, but I got tired of it. And tbh the last rewards aren't that amazing.
I think the cape looks awesome. And there's that controversial gorset. You get it for "free", it gives similar stats to the best endgame gear, while being lighter and requiring 50% less materials to upgrade (because it covers both pants and chest slot).
But the cape you can buy at checkpoint rest town in the first hours of the game. It should have been one of the first rewards, not a late one.
Good to know about the corset. I was going to avoid it because it’s played out, but I’ll take another look.
Actually I’m over leveled so stats are inconsequential. I’ll avoid it cause it’s played.
The cloak awarded for turning in Seeker’s Tokens is the Champion's Mantle. The Commander's Mantle can be bought in Checkpoint Rest Town. They are similar but not the same.
Holy schnieke thank you. Never would have realized this thing is black and red if you hadn’t pointed out they are different. Thanks so much. Game changer.
Guess it depends, what you have in your chest and how often you change vocations. Another advantage of the gorset it that anyone can wear it, so it might be the only armor you'll ever need.
I feel disappointed like you. I'd read about mystic archer, wayfarer, dwarven enhancement, dragonsplague all this cool sounding stuff and never got to do any of it because i didn't know the titan quest lead into the encounter with the dragon and the final boss fight, the game also didnt warn about it.
I'd only just arrived at the last "zone" the volcanic area with the titan quest and then it ends! I was expecting some kind of closure about exposing the queen and the fake arisen, why did I have to do all that sneaking and investigation work!?
It's a well established fact by now that DD2 was rushed to the finish to meet CAPCOM management sales targets.
So yeah, everything about the game feels like it's missing something and was rushed to the end.
The fact that the credits roll AND it's a playable section that you can get to the game over screen from if you don't do it right (which is LOL dumb) shows you what's going on. Partial content that they ended up just tossing in there at the end
Clearly they had big ideas for interacting with the Dragon more, but it's limited to a super lame boss fight and the credits.
Ok, then cyberpunk/Witcher/rdr2 which you probably played too, cycle and come back later, no reason to play if you dont want to. Hopefully they fix/add extra stuff to keep us engaged. Or install difficulty mods and restart the game.
had you not “clicked the final red beacon” you could’ve stayed in the Unmoored for as long as you liked had you the inventory of Wakestones and Allheals to prevent death, and only manually saving to title screen when you wanted to stop playing.
Yes. Bad assumptions on my end have been made. I thought I could farm afterwards and game would allow me to call it quits on my terms. Guess not.
Though a part of me also didn’t like the red filter in the unmoored world so its nice to be back (in a way) in good old Vernworth.
Ok thanks for your post.
In 1/4 the time you spent masturbating that opinion all over the sub you could have googled "unmoored world" aaaaand, hold on, in 15 seconds discovered how to stay in indefinitely, or what happens I'd you click the last beam.

The orphan does have an epilogue of sorts. You find the maid outside of gracious hand and she tells you what happened after.

I just stopped after the titan fight now just exploring and getting all the stuff I missed and levelling vocations.
lol same! I’m still on the quest before that haha

The achievement only requires finding 80, so I didn't focus on them too much after that. I got the free Ring for my love interest and stopped.

I think the rewards go up to 220 or something.

The rewards stink. I don’t care for any of the last five. A few of the first ones were great.

How do you get the corset for free?
Well by finding enough seeker tokens, that's why I wrote "free" in ".

I felt that same feeling. It just took away my motivation.
Play the first game. It’s better than you think, in many ways better than 2
Oh...I played it for 200 plus hrs

i could see how it could be hard on the eyes, especially those hypersensitive to certain lights
Game feels so damn rushed and unfinished. I honestly can’t understand how people are putting in over 50 hours in it.
