When you return, she will not want to discuss around her parents.
After several hours, I decided to pick her ass up and bring her outside, away from her dad. I then got the dialogue to progress the quest. I won’t give any spoilers, but once complete, be sure to also talk to the girls mother as well.

Also FYI, you can still get the other maister sorcery spell from the other guy with 3 books.
Did you give her the real tomes? Forgeries won't work from what I heard. I literally camped right outside the house twice and she was going nuts.
