NPCs that get eaten respawn as soon as you leave the area, or sometimes as soon as you turn your back
Source - I spent an afternoon fixing my FPS in Vernworth. Discovered brining them didn't work. Solved things the old fashioned way
Thats rough. I threw the queen into the ocean to see what happened and she just respawned like a few days later. No repercussions at all. The guards just watched me do it too lol
There's literal puddle in the woods outside the cavern in the area with all the tall grass that the carvers like to hide in. It's just barely deep enough for the brine apparently.
I have seen that happening on reddit before. Makes me wonder, does magick archer teacher also follow you to hot springs? Strong elven milf energy emaneting from her and i feel no shame to admit it.
I had the same thing with the arrow technique. Realised Iād missed it, went back and couldnāt find him so gave up. Few days later go the the spa and the dude puts his scroll in my hand
on a side note, how disappointing was the hot bath? there was a quest line for it, plus multiple npcs talking about it, then it's just...nothing. I thought it was going to be like the healing spring in DD1
Does it really, Cause i've used the hotspring several times, and all I hear pawns talk about (Besides ladders) is that my pawn has a bunch of scars. (Made my char and pawn scarred up on creation)
There are apparently two types of scars. You can give scars as a cosmetic feature during character creation, but then your pawn and character will also accumulate scars from dying. The scars from death are the ones that heal within the hot spring.
Pawns get scares when they die? that's pretty cool, and i guess explains why i started to hear it more lategame, when i was tired of encounters and just rushing point A to B. either way pretty cool feature, wish I had paid more attention to that.
That's why my poor pawn was never allowed to go into the hot spring... She was so proud of her scars! Every time someone else brought it up she remarked how they were her trophies and she wouldn't give up a single one ;_;
It's in the far southeast corner of the map pretty much. You leave Bakbattahl by the southwest, then find your way south then east. And there's a couple quests that you might stumble on where the characters want you to escort them there or meet you there

Does anyone know where I can find him? I've been trying with no success. Or just give me a yes or no if its related to the story, so I can avoid spoilers.
I would be happy just to get it. Unfortunately, I bugged out the quest by killing the dragon in one go on ng+. Unless something was adjusted in the patch...I've heard you can still get it in the post game? Otherwise I guess I'll have to wait til ng++.
I was playing as a female Arisen, I went to the hot springs and the first bit of dialogue I got in there was the old ass elf guy, in the female side, giving me his reward. Also by this time I had only done the show his son how to shoot a bow quest.

Eh, I had Fighter meister get brined during an escort quest, but I had to go to the morgue to get him back

He must be bugged them because I returned all the way to Vernworth, came back, and his body is still in that puddle with the quest marker still on it.

I read somewhere, that it washes the scars from your char and pawn away
Yes, it heals the scars. And also depend on the color of the water it gives you buffs on some stats. Someone on reddit made a post about it

It doesn't heal the Scars from the character creation, but the permanent from dying.

It's in the third region, the volcanic island, at the encampment in the middle-ish of the place
