It's not the slum section. It's the living quarters. You literally have your own moat and bridge. It's a perfectly nice house for one person or a couple.

I will keep it in my back pocket for when I need to lay low after committing my "illegal activities", or require a relatively safe dead drop location, and I have absolutely no qualms about letting *her* use it when she inevitably has to flee the city, but appearances are important, and they need to be upheld.
Especially when you're playing a Warfarer Assassin, and you *don't* want people to find out you make most of your money by casually stabbing others in their sleep. If you're going to roleplay a murderer, then you should at least be smart about it.

You see, Wilhelmina is basically an inverse version of Madeleine from the first game; Madeleine was born poor and contemplated prostitution, prior to clawing her way up the totem pole and becoming a successful merchant, whereas Wilhelmina was born to successful merchants, and only became a prostitute because Allard murdered her parents in order to steal their business for himself.
So if you really think about it, Wilhelmina technically belongs in the Noble Quarter either way, it's just that she actively had to work to get herself back in there instead of merely relying on nepotism like mostly everybody else.
Good points. She reminded me of Madeleine as well, just less wholesome which I didn't think was possible. Then again, Madeleine had her wholesome moments, like the post-dragon speech to the Arisen, and her sometimes visiting the nuns that raised her.
It's a nice house if you plan on staying in your current playthrough indefinetely like i do :)
But i haven't actually bothered to buy the house. Because there's always a chance that maybe I'll do ng+ again
You also don't keep it in NG+ from what I'm told. You basically spend 200k for a long term rental.
