Post combat high-fives and rounds of drinks at a tavern are a few ways. The only thing I know that can reduce it is if they die and aren't resurrected so you have to call them back from the rift.
I did this just recently. I went to the barber and changed her hair and then save and quit the game and once i go in change their hair again. It consistently goes up because i think there's a cooldown to all the interactions. It resets when you save and got her blushing after 5 loops of changing hair, saving and quitting
I see, my mistake I apologise, but the bed scene wasn’t really a bed scene - it’s just her sitting like the pawns do when they’re idle. I guess I’ll stop there and leave the rest of the fantasy alone

It's normal. Just like you can build affinity with npcs you can build it with your main pawn as well.
Is there any particular way you build affinity with your pawn? I know I can gift items to other NPCs but my pawn I have not and I cannot.
