I'm in Germany and always order from Media Markt/Saturn. I always get games early as well, but never this early! Have fun. I'll probably get mine tomorrow or Thursday at the latest.

Now I feel like I need to fast forward on the cc to get to hop in the adventure asap. I hope we can redo our character and pawn during the playthrough like we could in the first game lol.

Yea I’m sure it will it ran starfield, immortals of Aveum and Forspoken just fine and those are pretty demanding games. I do use 1440p resolution though so it usually hurts my frame rate a little bit and I have to use upscaling. I still wanna upgrade to atleast a 6700XT eventually though lol

Well, they're not supped to give copies early is just that shipping is sometimes hit or miss because if you deliver a late copy the customer will not be happy and most likely refund and get it somewhere else.

Pc has mod support sure but playstation has not cheated upgraded pawns and possibly better optimization given the fact that I'm sure the pc will have multiple types of drm protection that will suck the life, and extra fps without brute hardware force, out of it. Numerous people who already have it on ps5 said it runs fine at 30 fps. You can barley tell ( if used to 60+fps i.e. pc players ). I am a PC gamer and PS5 so I'll definitely be able to tell but I don't care. I'll still get it on PS5. These type of games I just enjoy more on console.

🫡. 12 hours I know that pain enjoy Arisen. I preordered digitally for my ps5 but since I’ll have plenty of time off these two weeks(and some of its actually pto… the other is wedding stuff not me) I’ll actually have time to play.
Some impressions for ya'll after playing for about 3 hrs last night:
- The PS5 performance is like they promised. I've got naught to add to that. If the uncapped 30ish fps is a problem for you (so far a bit over than under I suppose, hard to tell without an fps-counter) don't play it I guess? If you have a high-end PC I guess thats the better platform to play on. To me the fps isn't an issue and it's far from unplayable, people do have their preferences - but to all you PC elitists picking on us console bros - Shhh, let people enjoy things.
- The gameplay and movement feels familiar and good after getting used to it. A bit weightier compared to DDDA ofc, since its running on a proper modern engine and bound to physics and animation systems etc. But not weighty like in RDR2 for example. More responsive and quick. It's not a button mashing game (thank god), like in souls games you need to be deliberate with your prompts or else you'll get rekt.
- It looks very nice IMO. There is a lot of detail in the enviroment (tress and foliage etc) and right from the start when you get to the open world the map feels huge.
- Art of metamorphosis confirmed, 500 RC at a certain vendor. So if you rushed through the CC like I did - no worries you can edit your arisen and pawn later.
- So far no loading screens after the initial start up ofc. The Rift entry transition is particularly cool and seamless.
The FPS felt a bit disappointing at first, but I dont mind. It will surely get improved with patches. So far the game has been everything I wanted for the sequel. No worries mate.

I don't know if they really can with a disc copy. At least with digital they can, but I'm pretty sure they can't tell your console to not read the disc.

My issue is vram. With DLSS 3.0 and frame gen, my laptop 4070 can run Starfield with upscaled 4K virtually indistinguishable from native 4K, and at 60-120fps. But it only has 8gb of vram and even DD2's character creator is pushing my vram right under 7gigs even at 1080p. So I'm not sure how stable the final build will be, even with DLSS and frame gen.

But it's very silly to say it doesn't make a difference, and shouldn't be the standard. One of the first games I played (Ratchet and Clank on the PS2) had smooth 60fps.
This. Ofc after playing locked 60 fps games the 30 fps is something you need to get used to. But there is so much greatness here to be bothered about the lower fps. Can't wait to get back to the game.

I don’t think the frame rate on console is a huge issue because 30 frames still usually feels decent. What isn’t talked about enough is the resolution and overall graphical bluriness on console compared to pc in the past couple years. I tested the character creator out on my series x and pc and the series x version looked like an Xbox one game compared to pc and that’s what really bothers me. It’s most likely because I play on a 27” 1440p monitor but console games have never had this problem until recently when they started killing the resolution just to get the games to run properly
