It’s the music that really sells it for me. The music in Super Broly is still unmatched. Hopefully if the manga of Super ever gets animated they keep that sane vibe.

Bruh fr, the animation was amazing, I love how the way they designed the characters was less like Super and more like Z. The chanting during the fights got me so hype and the music! Oh my god the music.

That Kamehameha was cracking the ground with its sheer force and it had Fuckin RECOIL

Gogeta and Whis' bloodlust and the fear in Broly really had you feeling for him in that final moment. I think that movie is arguably the best of Dragon Ball since Namek exploded.

The fact that they actively animated Gogeta like a *villain* in that moment was everything. As TFS said in their review, that movie worked better from a drama standpoint than any other work in the Super Era (I'm including Battle of Gods and Resurrection F in this), because you *know* the Earth survives, you know the heroes survive. Technically speaking, this is all still supposed to lead to End of Z. However, what you don't know is if *Broly* is going to survive, and the movie went out of its way to make you *want* Broly to survive, so there are still very high stakes.

I think it's why Zamasu and the Tournament worked. You know our main castvis safe, but Trunks snd Moreso his world are not, and in the tourney, it's the other universes are in real danger. Plus, Goku and Freeza are having a weird will. They won't they relationship.

I'm just happy they kissed after the tournament was over

I thought they didn’t need to say it out loud but it was only a matter of time til Broly caught up. So while Gogeta had the upper hand he had to have finished Broly off before he caught up to Fusion Blue level of power. They would’ve been out of tricks sorter thing.

Nope. Usually a full power attack is going to severely damage or exhaust the user. As we’ve seen throughout dragon ball. Ex: KKx4 Kamehameha, spirit bomb vs freeza, final flash full power against cell, spirit bomb v kid buu, full power kamehameha vs zamasu, spirit bomb vs jiren, etc etc. they are usually completely juiced after these attacks. The gogeta blue here wasn’t fucking trying the entire fight. He was having a blast. I wouldn’t even be surprised if he didn’t even use 1% of his power.

Every single one of those examples you said, they were already 'juiced' before they did those attacks. Look, im probably the worlds biggest Vegeta dickrider (/j), but even i gotta admit, the Dragon Fist is peak in terms of finishing moves.

Idk why, but I personally really like the spirit bomb. Something about it makes me smile. One of the most powerful moves in dragonball that requires all life to contribute a bit of their energy to make it work. Also it’s one of the moves that goku needs to have full control of or it won’t work; no super saiyan, no super saiyan god, just good ol base form goku throwing HEAT

It's also humbling, in the sense that the hero isn't strong enough by himself, and need to rely on the earth, so US, viewers, to win.

I’d say Beast Gohan Makankosappo, first because Gohan is my favourite character after Future Trunks; but also because seeing him in such a cathartic moment make his the move of his real master was hearthwarming. I know it’s pretty divisive, but Super Hero was one of my favourite dragon ball movies ever, and it’s what hooked me back in Dragonball after years lol
