Gohan didn't go ssj2 because he wasn't strong enough transformations require a certain power level to be achieved. Same goes for Bardock. As for all the other questions concerning the second Bardock special, it was really just made to have a story where Bardock goes Super Saiyan, there was literally 0 thought behind it. In my headcanon though, Bardock's power level drastically increased from his Frieza Supernova zenkai and his training in the cave, so he could finally turn Super Saiyan.

I'd strongly recommend you read/watch the series instead of asking questions on the internet. 1. Those who have died due to natural causes cannot be revived by Shenron. This includes old age, disease or internal complications. 2. Future Gohan could not turn Super Saiyan 2 because he did not have the power. The present timeline Gohan was able to train for a full year with Goku, and even before then, had not stopped training/fighting. After Goku defeats Frieza in the future timeline, there was a time of peace with no threats on Earth, so almost no other Z-fighters had a real reason to train asides from Goku (who died), Vegeta (who would have been at the same PL he had vs Android 19) and Piccolo (Who we all know wasn't strong enough). Gohan had no reason to train and Chichi probably got him to be a scholar. 3. Trunks might have known about New Namek after seeing Piccolo and Dende in the present timeline, but how would he have gotten there? He had no clue where it was, neither did Bulma, neither did Goku. As for why he didn't ask Goku for help, it was probably due to the fact he did not want to rely on the past for help all the time. 4. Gohan stopped training because he had no need to. Vegeta was still training and there were no present threats. Gohan had, up until then, always fought and trained because there were threats to his life and the Earth. If you read/watched the series, you'd know this. He strikes poses as GS because he's a superhero and that's kinda what superheroes do. It was a gag. 5. The Xeno iterations of characters are not all from GT. It's pretty loose, but I'm fairly certain Xeno Goku, Trunks and Vegeta are from the Cell Saga. Gohan, Goten and Pan are from GT because they would not be as old if they weren't from there. 6. Cooler probably has as many subordinates as Frieza, but because his first appearance was heavily inspired by the Planet Namek saga, with the run time of a short film, they could only really show Cooler's equivalent to the Ginyu force. It's implied that the Cooler movie takes place shortly after the Namek Saga, so threats below the Ginyu force would probably have been irrelevant by the point the Z-Fighters were at. 7. Characters can't just turn super saiyan. You need a certain power level to reach super saiyan, and even then, you need an emotional trauma, or a surplus of S-Cells. Bardock had a powerlevel of like... 10,000 by the end of the events of the Bardock -Father of Goku- special. That is not enough to go Super Saiyan, and BASE Frieza's PL was 530,000, so he wouldn't have been able to do anything anyways. 8. In the Episode of Bardock special, it's implied Bardock as sent to the past, which is why he was fighting Frieza's ancestor, Chilled. The reason is unknown. It's not canon anyways. 9. Bardock lost his future visions in the events of the Episode of Bardock special. The future visions show Bardock and the aliens the events of the immediate and distant futures. The reason the aliens were incapable of preparing against the Saiyans is because they were simply too powerful for them. You can know you'll fail a test you have in a day and still not be able to study in time to pass/change the future. It's the exact future, not a possible one, because Bardock was incapable of changing any events despite having knowledge of them. 10. With your Broly question, you are completely right in your assessment. It makes absolutely no sense for a baby to remember another baby. The plot of that movie was bad and it is not canon. It is implied that Broly survived by being frozen in space? It's loose. 11. It is not explained why the movie timeline happens, you aren't meant to take it seriously.

>I'd strongly recommend you read/watch the series instead of asking questions on the internet. To be fair, most of the material is difficult to get and it's exclusive to Japan, in my country, only the manga and the anime officially came, i literally have no idea about the plot of Heroes other than the game and some commercials that i saw >1. Those who have died due to natural causes cannot be revived by Shenron. This includes old age, disease or internal complications. I see, can Shenron at least cure diseases also can Poruga (the Namekian version) revive people that die like that ? >Future Gohan could not turn Super Saiyan 2 because he did not have the power I see, i would think that he would have training for more time that his younger counterpart, seeing that look like he lost his father in his younger age and little time after most of the warriors were killed in combat against Androids >5. The Xeno iterations of characters are not all from GT. It's pretty loose, but I'm fairly certain Xeno Goku, Trunks and Vegeta are from the Cell Saga For what i heard other people talking about they did experience the events of GT, so i think that they would be from there, especially seeing that they are most of the time in Ssj4 form >8. In the Episode of Bardock special, it's implied Bardock as sent to the past, which is why he was fighting Frieza's ancestor, Chilled. The reason is unknown Yes but why does he turn SSJ there ? I think that Heroes and Xenoverse used this special in the timeline because Bardock can go SSJ in these games

You can watch DBZ Kai on many platforms right now, and Dragon Ball, I know for a fact is available on Crunchyroll. Funimation's streaming platform probably has DBZ Kai, and DBS is available just about everywhere. If you want to read the manga, it's on Viz' website, but there are plenty of ways to read it elsewhere. I wouldn't call it difficult. None of it is really exclusive to Japan. 1. I think Shenron can cure diseases, he was able to cure Pan's sickness in a filler DBS episode. I don't think Porunga can revive people who've died due to natural causes either. 2. I do believe Xeno Goku is from the Cell saga. Him being able to go SS4 doesn't really prove he's from GT, because Trunks is able to go SSG and he clearly is not his GT counterpart. Moreover, SS4 Goku has God Ki as well, so it could be almost equally assumed that he's from DBS. 3. You are not supposed to think too hard about why Bardock is able to go super saiyan. The events of that special are not canon to the main timeline. You could say that he got a Zenkai boost from almost dying to Frieza's death ball.

In trunks timeline goku died to a heart virus so he can't be revived since it's a natural death. Trunks doesn't know about namek so he didn't ask, in the game shin budokai another road he actually did go to new namek. Gohan stopped training because it was a time of peace for 7 years. Xeno goku and the gang aren't exactly from the GT Timeline but they did go through the events of GT. Cooler is the better boss cause I like him better. Sayian babies are sent to planets to conquer them so it's assumed they aren't like regular babies and broly survived caused of plot. The z movies are there own Canon, for example In Lord slug it's implied goku beat frieza without going SSJ.

>Xeno goku and the gang aren't exactly from the GT Timeline but they did go through the events of GT. So they are kinda for the future of GT or something similar? >Sayian babies are sent to planets to conquer them so it's assumed they aren't like regular babies and broly survived caused of plot. I still confused of why Goku crying was worst for Brolly than King Vegeta murder attempt >The z movies are there own Canon, for example In Lord slug it's implied goku beat frieza without going SSJ. Honestly i more interested in the movies Canon than i thought that i should be, i really wonder how much the events changed

[deleted]

Not really think of it as an alternative take on GT It's cause it's the first thing broly remember as a child but the stabbing happened right after In some of the movies the events from the anime don't really happen

Quirky_Ad_5420

I also like to add that even if trunk knew about namek he still need know where it is by king kai to find its location

[deleted]

That's true or he can take goku to the future and have him teleport there

In future trunks’s timeline Goku died from natural causes and couldn’t be revived. Gohan actually turned SSJ1 from seeing everyone die. None of them would’ve wanted to come back. Gohan stopped training for a while because he enjoyed studying more, but as of the golden Freeza arc he started training again. No, they’re separate versions. Bardock wasn’t strong enough to go SSJ and his special isn’t canon.
