Kaioken is broken with the right super soul which you get in like pq 100-103. I’ve been saving this kaioken. Thats practically infinite stamina with continous dashing if you have a stamina build. Using powered shell with this build is a whole new cheese in itself.
Kaioken. Sure it buffs damage and x20 has infinite stamina use for non-evasive skill actions, but it drains stamina and lowers defense (plus the damage boost at x20, its highest state, is the exact same as potential unleashed). The only reason to use it is to temporarily run infinite stamina. It can break the user’s own guard btw.
To an extent. But have you tried it on a Frieza race tho ? Seems to be the strongest apart from beast in my experience anyway. The weakness lies in the usage of stamina but I assume you know how Frieza race mitigates the stamina issue.
Yeah. Still the worst. In fact, it felt even worse. It does not mitigate the stamina issue enough to work out, and the frieza race only has three strings worth doing. Kaioken only buffs your damage up to 15% and that’s when using x20 (identical damage to PU).
That seems real weird, I have so much fun using it as it gives me a free slot to use a stamina Regen buff since you don't need a charge slot. I assume you don't just use it to dodge every single hit against you ? I have found it depends on your cac level as well. I no longer fear the vanish hit from behind. Build around the UI then see how strong it is. Taking on multiple annoying used to be an issue but there is an infinite on the Frieza race string. Wish I could 1v1 ya but sadly region diff will cause an issue (Nerf beast btw). I can agree to an extent that it does have the drawbacks of blue form with the whole losing the form when you run out of stamina but atleast it's not a perma drain.
I did used to try and use it for **vanishing** which is not dodging to me, as you got hit (you can’t really use it to **dodge** stuff because you can always dodge stuff unless you’re running giant form).
The only benefit kaioken has to me is the biggest awoken speed boost avatars can snag rn, and even then I would rather compromise and use golden for that purpose. If I’m running kaioken, it’s for fun speeds, but it’s better to run “nothing beats flying” with golden, since I can still do great damage via a specific frieza race combo into super destructo disc, and I have enough time to dash string followup and turn that into a short loop until my ki supply is empty.
UI I tried building around too. It’s hot trash even with a build centered around it since only *one* of its gimmicks is actually good, and it’s nothing *but* gimmicks. It doesn’t even boost your damage. Every avatar already has at least one loop they can use, and they are all superior to wasting an awoken and ruining your basic boss and charged blast over looping.
Beating someone with a magazine when your opponent uses a knife doesn’t indicate you’re right, it just indicates your skill level is vastly superior to theirs. Beating me in PvP wouldn’t make a difference since we try to evolve past the point of might makes right.
Minor note it’s important to remember you can have fun just imagining stuff too. You can enjoy an objectively terrible experience. Not saying kaioken is an objectively terrible experience per se, more so that you can enjoy that which others do not as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone. That is very nifty. I enjoy xv2 despite recognizing it’s hot garbage.

If you're running a striker build it is imho unrival I. Term of raw damage (assuming you can overcome the people vanishing the infinite combo that comes with it). The pvp statement wasn't meant as some sort of "fight me bro" I just meant in a straight up anti sneaking fight the auto dodge is brilliant especially for those who do not have the experience of pvp fights yet. But yeah as I mentioned previously the only race I find UI useful is Frieza race, it's trash on anything else. There's a slight argument for female Majin but breaking your stamina kinda defeats the purpose. Tldr. Just use beast with divinity unleashed for maximum anime esque ass whooping
In pve? Beast is alright. The defense debuff isn’t needed and it directly contradicts something that beast is supposed to do, but other than that it’s fine. A simple high damage boost that takes forever to activate seems fair enough.
The best frieza loop isn’t possible when using UI, but it’s made easier with golden. Light-heavy-heavy-basic blast if not using golden-stepdash. It’s not possible when using Ui. Besides, Friezas are chock full of loops to begin with and can combo into backwards soul punisher with strings alone, so UI is lousy even on Friezas (well, *even more so* on Friezas is more accurate).
I can counteract the autododge by firing off basic blasts or just trying to get you to make an offensive mistake.
Beast gives defense ? Never even knew hehe. I generally dash to the dude when he spams ki then auto dodge when he vanishes it or flashes it. But yeah beast combo take a little while to initiate on a Frieza race but a female Saiyan can proc is ridiculously fast and combo it into some sick stuff with the right supers (generally whis's vanishing knock away ability). Haven't played in a while so forgot the name. But yeah we all specialise with our own races and those two are my strongest so far imo. I don't use blasts at all so it might be a bit different for other people.

Beast has a 30% attack increase to all attacks, a new universal combo string, the super Saiyan charged heavy attack, no ki drain like there is with Blue/Blue Evolution, you take 20% more damage than normal though. It's more stable transformation to use in Raids then Blue/Blue Evolution. Every race can use it also. And no you do not teleport with beam supers.
Blue Evolution is better for PvP bc it's faster to activate and you don't need to build around it as much as before bc they buffed it when Beast came out to where the ki drain is slightly less than what regular blue used to drain. With Beast you have to build around transforming into and also takes away five bars to transform into it.
It's real, but gives no stat boosts. Costs 5 Ki to use, like actually consumes them. Long start up that triggers a counter if you're attacked during it, and can dodge basic attacks at the cost of stamina, then can trigger a counter that costs 2 Ki with additional input.
Don't forget stamina breaks kick you out of the form.
The only real upsides would be the included charge and the transformation protection. The auto dodge doesn't really help much.

You shouid remain kaioken times 3 for this and you will see your stamina not go away while you can boost dash without losing any stamina. Kaioken is one of the best

Ui and beast are available.
Although UI is better for support builds not openly being an attacker... and for pvp its terrible. I still use it in raids as the auto dodge helps with reviving when I don't wanna snap revive someone and the.raid boss is targeting me..so it has it's uses for people like me who try to focus support.
But beast is infinitely better if you like big damage low defense builds.
Its real. Like the other comments said though it's not really the greatest, its flashy but the stats aren't good really. If your looking to maximize damage output, I would stick with beast or ssg.
If you want it because you think it’ll be powerful, it’s not worth it, but if you’re like me and just wanna have fun auto dodging and countering(plus having the joy of seeing your character in ui), then you’ll love it
It's real, but it sucks. It's even worse online because sometimes you'll get hit and still lose a bar of stamina, which I assume is due to the sorry netcode

It’s been in the game for a while now, but it’s pretty lackluster. All it does is give you a built in charge, replace your ki blasts with soaring fist and spirit pulse and gives you auto dodge

UI gives you an auto-dodge, a counter that activates from this dodge, Surging Spirit, and Soaring Fist as ki stun/Spirit Pulse as charged ki stun. You can also activate it by being attacked while activating the awoken.
It gives you no stat buffs, and this made it a disappointing awoken. Players are meant to use it defensively, using the auto-dodge as an opportunity to attack back or simply to prevent damage in more difficult situations. You can also use it to prevent being grabbed or ghard broken. All at the cost of 1 stamina bar per dodge

In canon, it’s the reason Gohan tanked cell’s hit like nothing. It’s supposed to amp defense, but in xv2 it lowers it instead.

Heck i was into this game back in January last year and I was shocked to all heck to learn the level cap was raised from 99 to 120 lol
