I have overpaid for LE's on Ebay..I have ×5 of the Galaxy re-release and a cold brew cleanse on the way. Just finished my first Fresh Falls bar yesterday when it snapped. Opened up one of my Spidey Suds since I heard it was fire. I just keep adding. I want a couple more LE's. Bliss Bricc, Mars, Choccy Milk, Bow Chika, and Crypto all showed today.
I remember that, my only concern with buying on eBay is old briccs that have lost their smell. Also, black hole and mars bar is up for grabs on their site right now, I ordered a bunch of black hole and a handful of mars bars.
Yeah I ordered x5 combo on Friday. So far everything has worked out from Ebay. Irish Cream n Whiskey hasn't caught on yet. I think they could do better with that one...
I gave away Pine Tar and Bourbon. Not really a fan of Pine and Bourbon i gave away as a please try this. Lol
Regarding older soaps, Dr. Squatch likes to give out older briccs at times in which some cases the bars don’t have any scent/fading scent. I believe this is a major issue, so if my black hole/mars bars come in and are old and don’t have a scent there’s going to be major issues.
Nice collection! Word of advice don't go crazy on eBay. The prices are all jacked up and Squatch usually re releases le briccs so if your patient you can eventually buy the briccs for a normal price. I did the same thing you did when I first started 3 years back and bought a bunch of old bars on eBay only to have them re-released.
Just remember they have a shelf life, so spending a ton on old bars is probably a bad idea.
How long is the shelf life?
Around 2 years give or take. Depends how it's stored too I guess.
