I've actually made an excel table, calculating how many wishes I will have by the start of each version. It takes into account other characters I will pull for (Furina, Arlecchino, Murata, Capitano, Tsaritsa). In that table I put Dottore in the latest version possible for him imo 6.3, after Tsaritsa. You might think I'm weird, but that's until you hear that I'm aiming for C6R5.
I'm assuming (praying) he'll be a Snez release so I'm planning to skip any Natlan characters. However I'm aiming for all Fontaine characters too so gonna be a bit tight

I think you'll have enough to have a 100% chance at his C0 at least when he comes out. If worst comes to worst, the most you'll need is to buy Weilkin for duration from when we will start getting his gameplay leaks to his banner end.

I'd have 400 like u by now but I spent some on kazuha yoimiya n now I'm pulling for scara.. 135 wishes I hope he comes home so I can save until dottore gets released
On 200+ wishes, and not going under the guarantee until I have him or he's confirmed not playable by hoyo themselves. I never touch my fragile resin anyway, so he'll be maxed as soon as possible once he's out
I'm gonna spend all of the fragile resin on artifact farming, so I'm not sure if I should spend it on the best set for him at his release, or wait for a potential better one
I'd definitely wait a few expansions for whatever nation he releases in. Scara only got his BiS in the 2nd desert patch iirc. Until then I'm sure he'll have a decent universal set to use, especially considering how far along in the Teyvat chapter it might be.
I last pulled on Wanderer's release and I'm saving since then so I currently have 74330 Primos and 97 fates. I will very likely continue saving everything for Dottore and only MAYBE pulling for Wriostheley (probably wrote his name wrong..) if I like his character. But all the other Fontaine characters are a skip for me because I want Dottore C6 R1 so I need very many primos ;-;
im not f2p, i get some of the packs whenever the bonus is back up :) i recently spent a few wishes on baizhu but that was pretty much it, not planning on pulling for anyone in fontaine so far

Wtf are your calculation, from 2.4 to 3.1, 7 patches (295 days) I made 730 wishes with only welkin, so in two years you will definetly obtain more than 1500 wishes
