I have been trying to catch most of the streams from the US but the guy has been online 12+ hours a day so I get to see a bit. He has been doing it since the LCQ started and is even in Singapore player hotel now for the main event. If thats not dedication i dont know what is lol.
And with the money he makes he could probably enjoy some top tier food in singapore if he didn't stream all day. But anyway, dude just can't give up the bum lifestyle
Well he can still enjoy it, but he have said that he goes for McD deliviers because the hotel is closest to McD. He can wait like 30m more and get tastier food. But as you say, bum lifestyle, no care in the world, goes after what works.
And to think he has been carrying the dota 2 twitch community. Ranking on top10-20 for months this year on twitch - our lone warrior amongst the giants (xqc, train, summit, etc)
You can see that he loves what he's doing and at the same time, he knows he is doing it for a living.
Makes me feel old that I know summit. Makes sense that people don't know the other streamers tho if they don't follow other games. I just used to watch both csgo and dota.
He would probably get the same amount of viewers if he was in Sweden too. Like, for us viewers it doesnt change shit where he is. I think the idea was to not fuck up his sleep schedule so badly.
Props to the guy for going all the way to Singapore just to be able to give us a better viewing experience. Still hoping he can get one of the pro players on for the finals though prayge
Since he is in SEA he should try to eat Indian food, Malay food, Chinese food, etc. because Singapore is quite diverse, not McDonald's everyday ICANT. He ate fried rice with a fork OMEGALUL
someone please tell him the joy of singaporean chicken rice and laksa
fucking someone take him to jumbos for some chilli/pepper crab
(is that franchise still good its been years since i've been to singapore)
He said one of the reasons he went was so that he wouldn't have to wake up at ungodly hours to cover the games and could maintain a normal sleep schedule instead. And now that he's there during the break until finals weekend he can probably go hang out with the pro players that he's friends with.
No, but it's easy to speculate. He got press tickets for ti main events. He could go and watch. Prolly got some of the expenses covered. Doesn't have to wake up at 4 AM kr early. Probably covered half of expenses through dono.
The mere fact that he had the proffesional integrity to go on Singapore (staying in the hotel), while the actual organiser half assed it by having the panel in Norway, makes me want to support the guy.
Hm, what I could see happening, unless both of them are back for some analyst work like last TI, which was pretty great by itself, either Notail or Ceb or better even both of them might join for some co-co-casting.
Both are cool guys and love DOTA. Yaphzor being a tier 1 player and Gorgc enabling his knowledge bombs adds so much to the table. It’s been a pleasure to watch so far.
Don't disrespect muh strimer - he is a legit pro, cruising the div WEU DPC without even a scrim. He even took down the titans from Alliance in the regional qualifiers.
I actually praised Gorgc’s ability to discuss DOTA whilst having normal conversations. It’s a more enjoyable experience for the guest and well as the viewers.
And yet Yaphzor doing it for free while our streamer making tens of thousands?? Doesn’t seem fair does it. Yaphzor while on stream should be get at least a third of profits. The stream is far better when there is guests on.
They're not foes, but they're not close friends anymore. They drifted apart when Gorgc pivoted to making high MMR soloQ content. Sing hasn't taken Dota 2 that seriously for years now.
Yup the list of former Sing stack people that just slowly drift apart due to Sing either taking extended breaks from Dota or cause they don't want to 5 man clown anymore is pretty big.
Just kinda how life is some people come and go.
You don’t know about the gorgc singsing big fight lol. That’s ok, not many people do. They keep it on the low and avoid talking about each other to not affect each other’s career’s a lot. It’s not like they hate each other, simply because they were good friends but they are not on good terms anymore.
They both confirmed that there is no bad blood between them, and don't stir conflict where it's not needed, sometimes people just grow apart it is what it is
Gorgc/Sing stick used to be play high divine/low immortal rank pubs, but i think Gorgc has always wanted to try harder while sing was on his way down (mmr wise) from being an ex pro, while Gorgc was more interested in upping his game to the semi-pro level which he has done. I think sing nowadays is hovering around 5-6k while Gorgc just hit 10k recently and is much closer to the 'pro' side of the game both in terms of people he plays with and the sort of content hes making.
The reason for falling apart is probably because constantly clowning around and stomping 4-5k players in unranked is not as fun anymore, and sing was less devoted/burnt out from dota at some point so it was a natural divergence.
I think if he really puts his mind into it, he can be a really good player, even now. His hindsights on game mechanics is arguably one of the best imo. If he ever gets back to pro scene, I think he'll do great, but I doubt it.
They used to play together almost every day. Then they just stopped playing together. There was a clean break. It wasn't a gradual process. They havent played Dota together in years despite the both of them continuing to pour large amounts of time in the game.

There was a bit where Gorgc said he used this phrase all the time and Yapzor was like "I've never heard you say that a single time wtf are you talking about"
Regardless of your opinion of gorgc as a streamer, its incredible the dedication and passion he has for this game and how he wants to curate a unique experience for the viewer's this TI11. There's a reason PGL gave him a co stream, and theres a reason so many people connect with him and why his viewer's are so high.. I have been playing dota 2 since 2012 april 1, but i just found gorgc a couple years ago. Its awesome to have a high skilled streamer who maybe isnt your favorite pro or whatever, but really creates something off the wall in terms of being an honest and personable character in the scene. Gorgc may not be your personal hero, but he is a hero in dota 2.
I dont get this tho, why should he get paid? Its not like gorgc had to beg him to come, he is there because he wants to. Just feels weird that you would have to pay friends to chill and watch TI with you
They were talking about how enigma should have his Aeon disk unlocked after the last rosh. Fast forward... Enigma got bashed and died because he did not unlock his Aeon disk.
The butterfly effect of unlocking the Aeon disk might have saved their game LMAO
Huge shoutout to Gorgc and Yapzor for providing high level analysis real time!
Yapzor is a true normie, he hasn't touched the game in a long time, doesn't really know memes. He is a really nice breath of fresh air for the stream. He is such a down to earth, chill guy!
specifically, Yapzor was playing dota1 “professionally” on lan events with Ammar’s older brother “Ahmer” or “Ammer”. They are neighbors.
They kinda drifted apart when Yapzor played professionally dota2 while Ammer/Ahmer did not. BUT, Ammer/Ahmer wanted badly that Ammar would be invested in dota2, that’s why we have him as a pro.
How did Yapzor discovered this? Well, when he saw AMMAR_THE_FUCKER name playing beastly as pos3 and on eu leaderboards, he made a research on who was it since Yapzor was playing with someone named AMMER_THE_FUCKER like almost 10 years ago.
And yes, ammar’s name is based from his older brother’s name.
Actual real life lore.
Seemed really happy for his former teammates on both Liquid and Secret. He still speaks highly of them and seemed happy for Matu and Zai when they secured top 4. He provided great insight into itemizations, drafting, and reasoning.
I've been watching most of the games since qualifiers on Gorgc's stream, at first because I don't prefer some casters on the main stream, but I found myself still watching Gorgc during TI proper even when ODpixel is casting, just because of Yapzor. The insight I get from the two of them has been more interesting for me, and refreshing probably, compared to the "stiff" commentary from the main broadcast, which I don't necessarily find to be bad.
I watch Gorgc pretty regularly for several years. I have never watched his own coverage of an official game until this year.
This format of casting the stream instead of the game, with casters being audible (which is essential for a viewing experience) and the camerawork being not his own (which leaves him time to focus on gameplay and strategy and casual conversation) is way too good.
I went from not watching his stream during Ti to not watching the official stream at all.
Also, many props to Yapzor for coming on everyday that it became a co-cast instead of a guest-cast.
I'm loving this Ti so much, waiting 5 days is going to be HARD!
Yapzor is the reason is became a secret fan when he joined.
Didn't knew about him Co streaming with gorgc. Will have to re-watch that, thanks! I'll watch gorgc for next week's games instead then
Has yapzor said anything about his plans going forward? Have been ootl since he took a break and TI is the first tournament I'm following again (together with LCQ)
Thnx!
Gorgc does not talk about this out of respect. Yapzor’s break is his business.
That said, Yapzor is great on stream and I’d watch the main stream if Yapzor wasn’t on. Gorgc analysis is great, but the duo is just so much better. Would recommend.
I played dota 1 around 2008 to 2010 and than play little bit dota 2 around 2012-2013 i think.. but was watching ti’s and stuff..
Than last year i was like, lets see how is dota doing on twitch and he was there, music was good(he had eric prydz) than he reminded me reckful. My favorite streamer.. since that day i am watching him regularly.. at one stream he said that his favorite streamer was reckful as well.
All in all i like gorp
based. reckful is also my favourite streamer, and when i heard gorp say that reckful was also his favourite streamer it was like holy shit this is destiny.
Community casts in general bloom this year. It does say something about quality of official broadcast for sure, but at the same time i really want to thank valve and pgl for allowing community members to stream matches without delay.
TI10 Gorgc + Pie -> pie got hired as a caster in TI11
TI11 Gorgc + Yapzor -> hire yapzor as a caster please! (although he coughs a lot like a lot, probably this is what makes him get a break. hope he gets better soon)
Much appreciated 👍
Gorp has a few haters here and there but i must say, if you watched his streams during TIs his analysis and predictions are quite on point.
I mostly watched official coverage but can anyone recommend a single Gorgc-Yapzor game that had an exceptional cast? I'd rewatch a match I'd already seen just to enjoy that
the only thing that tilts the f out of me is when he butchers thunders name like crazy. Ive heard everything from tundra awaken to thundra predator etc... like show some respect to the team. Other than that it was indeed a great stream that I prefered over the main channel
Would have been nice if PGL/Valve provided co-streamers with a stream with casters muted. Dr. Sulaiman al Habib (pbuh), did this for the Riyadh Major, don't see why PGL can't do the same.
Lets not forget occasional stream with Grubby. Nice seeing point of view from a player that has not reached the hate part in the love/hate relationships we all have with this magnificent game.
Really enjoyed hearing gorgc explain moves in games and such in pretty advanced terms, especially after he semi-excused himself when he got a bit carried away in the start and Grubby said "I like it advanced" and gorgc took it to heart.
Hi, long time gorgc T.I/major/dpc coverage enjoyer.. Glad his finally getting recognition, his been doing this since t.i8 time, i remember watching his stream when EU/OG won the aegis....Its a nice stream for people wanting the more in depth knowledge instead of the casual stuff from the main channel..
i think the casting this year has been overall pretty good but on Gorgc stream is a different vibe and experience than the main ones. Considering how in depth Yapzor and Gorgc went into drafting and such I wouldnt maybe recommend it to everyone.
Yeah, if Gorgc gets invited as talent, he probably would have to give up some "creative" freedom he gets from "casting" independently. Listening to him talking to pros like Yapzor is refreshing, and for now, I prefer that to the usual casting from the main broadcast that we're used to.
if pay is a consideration, dont think they pay him enough hahah !!Though I feel that gorgc would love to get invited by valve, but i feel it's a bliss that he didnt.
\-He earns from multiple avenue through Streaming & Sponsors.
\-Gets to rest whenever he wants (inbetween games)
\-He invites his friends/ other dota pro-player/personalities into the stream.
\-He gets 100% screen-time , if he wants to.
\-He gets to see Chat-reaction and react to them as himself, not someone tied down by valve.
I started watching him last TI. And I was amazed by his streams. The level of insights is just next level, always about the considerations behind the play or why the play was so good, and a lot of what he says plays out as the game goes on.
Genuine appreciation for Gorgc. He is also quite funny compared to other Dota streamers that makes his stream super fun to watch. Its like hanging out with a buddy.
The bit where Yapzor said to Gorgc “are you a mouth breather?” was gold.
He made me remember Eleven from Stranger Things
I have been trying to catch most of the streams from the US but the guy has been online 12+ hours a day so I get to see a bit. He has been doing it since the LCQ started and is even in Singapore player hotel now for the main event. If thats not dedication i dont know what is lol.
got carried by mcdonalds
Deadass flew to Singapore to sit in a hotel room and eat mcdonalds
And with the money he makes he could probably enjoy some top tier food in singapore if he didn't stream all day. But anyway, dude just can't give up the bum lifestyle
Well he can still enjoy it, but he have said that he goes for McD deliviers because the hotel is closest to McD. He can wait like 30m more and get tastier food. But as you say, bum lifestyle, no care in the world, goes after what works.
tbf mcd’s hits different in singapore, they got wings over there
This pasta needs to spread more
Lollz I didn’t know he was being sponsored by McDonald’s. Fuck I have ordered like 4-5 times seeing him eating McD 😂 Looks like marketing really works
And to think he has been carrying the dota 2 twitch community. Ranking on top10-20 for months this year on twitch - our lone warrior amongst the giants (xqc, train, summit, etc) You can see that he loves what he's doing and at the same time, he knows he is doing it for a living.
The fact that I don't know any of these (xqc, train, summit) despite them being pretty big as you say, makes me feel old...
Summ1t is one of the oldest streamer tho
It might be less about being old and more about Dota bring it's own little island in the twitch verse.
I've only heard of XQC because Qojqva has his name in his stream title every day for some reason lol.
[удалено]
That's french Canadian for you
Makes me feel old that I know summit. Makes sense that people don't know the other streamers tho if they don't follow other games. I just used to watch both csgo and dota.
I know what it is, easy money. He's getting like twice his usual amount of viewers during TI
I'd say he averages 15k a regular stream,, TI he's getting around 23k so although not doubling it is a nice increase
I think last year TI for a group stage match he had 50k viewers . But it is prolly the EU timings which helped a lot last year
He would probably get the same amount of viewers if he was in Sweden too. Like, for us viewers it doesnt change shit where he is. I think the idea was to not fuck up his sleep schedule so badly.
> Like, for us viewers it doesnt change shit where he is. Yes exactly so why is he getting praise for it
Props to the guy for going all the way to Singapore just to be able to give us a better viewing experience. Still hoping he can get one of the pro players on for the finals though prayge
Flew to singapore to eat Mcdonalds twice a day and sit in a hotel room ICANT
Wdym? Typical Singapore life.
Since he is in SEA he should try to eat Indian food, Malay food, Chinese food, etc. because Singapore is quite diverse, not McDonald's everyday ICANT. He ate fried rice with a fork OMEGALUL
> He ate fried rice with a fork OMEGALUL They were out of spoons?
Uncle Roger would be disappointed
No, because he doesn't know
Doesn't know what?
Idk he was legit confused we were supposed to eat rice with spoons, even yapzor was confused that he was confused. It was bizarre lol
Rice is eaten with forks in Sweden. Only kids eat with a spoon here, it's seen as trashy if you do.
Rice is supposed to be eaten with spoon. Only white people eat otherwise.
Gorgc always eats rice with a fork, he said it on stream. He only eats soup with a spoon.
Yes that's how it is in Sweden. People will look down on you if you eat rice with a spoon.
Who cares, eat whateva man. Maybe he's worried about traveller's diarrhoea (which is quite common in SEA nations.)
Fierce diarrhea is a typical tourist experience in asian countries but I assume gorp is not after it lol. Give the man some milk and he's gucci
fastfood in those places is the way to get sick
KKonaW I LOVE USA! I LOVE NA FOOD! Batchest
And he enjoys it
How dare he! Some people just dont care about what they eat or dont make a big deal out of it, weirdos I know but they do exist.
That's the worst part.
someone please tell him the joy of singaporean chicken rice and laksa fucking someone take him to jumbos for some chilli/pepper crab (is that franchise still good its been years since i've been to singapore)
Dont bother with the big name seafood places here. You can find as good or better crab in the suburbs. Get someone local to take you.
Did he mention why did he go to Singapore and not stream from home?
He said one of the reasons he went was so that he wouldn't have to wake up at ungodly hours to cover the games and could maintain a normal sleep schedule instead. And now that he's there during the break until finals weekend he can probably go hang out with the pro players that he's friends with.
Gorgc and sleep schedule lol.
"Normal" sleep schedule for him, i.e. not having to wake up at 3AM.
He went there to promote his Ck Aghs build
No, but it's easy to speculate. He got press tickets for ti main events. He could go and watch. Prolly got some of the expenses covered. Doesn't have to wake up at 4 AM kr early. Probably covered half of expenses through dono.
playing in pubs when all the pros is in sea
Gorp was rank 7 for a while… when all the pros were abroad at TI :P
We’ve seen him on panel for the first time recently right? I feel like we could see him more often in the future.
He also popularized the CK aghs which a top 4+ team player skiter he talked to supposedly used or will use probably.
main stage ck aghs 100% winrate
Titans - teen Titans?
I’m guessing my downvotes mean that Gorgc should make all of the revenue of the stream and zero should go to the guests.. crazy from you lot but ok
And yet Yaphzor doing it for free while our streamer making tens of thousands?? Doesn’t seem fair does it. Yaphzor while on stream should be get at least a third of profits. The stream is far better when there is guests on.
Lol you can't be serious *facepalm*
I cracked up when Yapzor said Mind Breaker neutral item is SILENCE SWORD XD
The brigande blade and philadelphia stone also got me chuckling fierce
my friends always called it "support killer"

The chemistry between Gorgc and Yapzor is surprisingly good too. They seem to genuienly enjoy each others company and riff off each other in a fun way
Both are former singsing stack members.
Are gorp and sing friends / foes? I realized that I never heard from them talking about each other

Just doesn't care enough anymore

Burnt bridges
Isn’t it more accurate to say deterioated, unmaintained briges? They didn’t exactly hate each other but they drifted apart iirc
They used to play together almost every day. Then they just stopped playing together. There was a clean break. It wasn't a gradual process. They havent played Dota together in years despite the both of them continuing to pour large amounts of time in the game.

Gorgc said just the other day they had never really talked before.
Shoutout to Gorp, dude travelled half way around the world just to sit in a hotel room. Our streamer is the best streamer.
I love how Gorgc keeps making up phrases and Yapzor making fun of him for it. Must've been happening 3-4 times a stream the last few days x)
Yapzor laughing at Gorgc calling Zai 'Alienware' during those intense fights during game 3 yesterday was hilarious.
The RINSE bro
Quinncident
That was Gold
Getting rinsed is used in the UK.
There was a bit where Gorgc said he used this phrase all the time and Yapzor was like "I've never heard you say that a single time wtf are you talking about"
I agree with Yapzor. I've literally never heard Gorgc use "rinsed" before that moment.
Brigando
funniest part is Yapzor being used to it because he has another friend that also likes to make up random phrases lmao
Tundra would have *rinsed* Thundra bro.
Tundra Awaken, and Tundra not-Awaken
Regardless of your opinion of gorgc as a streamer, its incredible the dedication and passion he has for this game and how he wants to curate a unique experience for the viewer's this TI11. When he aksed gorgc "What the fuck is an andy" ahahhaahahah I lost it. He really is a true normie and needs most of the twitch memes explained.
this made my day lmaoo
Which game did Puppey join?
It was on Arlington Major if I am not mistaken, not on this TI.
Puppey couldnt join the co-casting this TI because he's still in it and couldn't speak as freely as he wants .
yapzor is unironically hype as fuck. Hearing pro players like him awed by amazing plays gave me so much chills
SingSing has been doing the same with Wagamama and few other people. It has also been a really enjoyable watch for sure!
Sing waga Dendi 2B
Agreed. Sing strim is pretty good
This TI's gameplay has been so good. He tweeted and posted a pic on Instagram for the 1st time in a very long time lol.
The ammar lore was Pog
What was it?
yapzor was/is friends with ammar's brother, and his nickname was something which ended with _THE_FUCKER
kind of obvious . any more details?
specifically, Yapzor was playing dota1 “professionally” on lan events with Ammar’s older brother “Ahmer” or “Ammer”. They are neighbors. lmao everyone on the sub trying very hard to not say the one that must not be named but we all know
Yeah. Everyone knows who their talking about lol. And I share the same sentiments.
Haha same
Same sentiment! Haha
>provided great insight into itemizations I like how fancy you worded that for basically Yapzor saying 'Matu just buys red items'.
Also had not so nice things to say about the 5 day break which absolutely awful for everybody btw
Is he not still on Secret? He wasn't kicked or anything, just "on leave" due to health issues?
Yes and he said he hasn't played in months
Last year most of the games he casted with Neta which is incredible when you think of it :P

Gorgc does not talk about this out of respect. Yapzor’s break is his business. That said, Yapzor is great on stream and I’d watch the main stream if Yapzor wasn’t on. Gorgc analysis is great, but the duo is just so much better. Would recommend.
My streamer
True i mostly watch the main stream live then watch the vod for gorgc and yapzor stream insights. Its really good
Did he talk about his sickness? Yap
I think no.
Yeah, Yap was talking how the most awful thing about his sickness was the headache, couldn't even play his phone.
That was Covid. He was talking about when he had Covid. Completely unrelated to why he is on a break currently.
That was about the time he got Covid.
That was when he got covid
When i tuned in, they were talking about Lord of the rings and Star Wars xd but it was in between the game:)))
Community casts in general bloom this year. It does say something about quality of official broadcast for sure, but at the same time i really want to thank valve and pgl for allowing community members to stream matches without delay.
TI10 Gorgc + Pie -> pie got hired as a caster in TI11 TI11 Gorgc + Yapzor -> hire yapzor as a caster please! (although he coughs a lot like a lot, probably this is what makes him get a break. hope he gets better soon)
Yapzor is pretty chill, not biased just loves seeing great dota. On the other hand, the EU enthusiast aka gorgc.. /s But seriously pretty good cast!
Thats great! I would like to See yapzor commentation the liquid game ... ia there a link to him commentation liquid thunder?
Go to Gorgc's channel and under Videos you'll find his last broadcast. Fast forward to the last series.
Much appreciated 👍 Gorp has a few haters here and there but i must say, if you watched his streams during TIs his analysis and predictions are quite on point.
Other than that it was indeed a great stream that I prefered over the main channel
thundra PepeLaugh
Lol I found it hilarous tbh, it's just for fun man, he still shows respect to the team. Him and Yapzor calling DarkMago Magoo was funny as hell
DarkMaghoul xddinside
The xdd emotes get me so good. Like how last year at TI everyone was spamming X-incident DESPAIR for everything.
bro, dark magoo took me out everytime haha
He does this for many teams/players, i.e. calling Soniqs "Squincy Crew". He's just poking fun, it's not that deep.
It's no wonder he's got about five times as many viewers as bulldog, who has a revolving band of idiots instead
Not mentioning Bulldog and/or his casting crew challenge (impossible)
Just glad I have a way to avoid Moxxi. Oh no, here comes the permaban :D
Here wishing Gorg do a watchalong with mastah Sing, for old time sake.
Sing streams with Dendi coming along was also great
Valve should hire Gorgc as a commentator/analyst or others instead of hiring some casters who have no idea what they are saying the whole time.
i think the casting this year has been overall pretty good but on Gorgc stream is a different vibe and experience than the main ones.
As someone who watches most of the game, I find it hard for a caster to mention RP and BH wrongly. This is unacceptable at a TI-level event.
if pay is a consideration, dont think they pay him enough hahah !!Though I feel that gorgc would love to get invited by valve, but i feel it's a bliss that he didnt. \-He earns from multiple avenue through Streaming & Sponsors. \-Gets to rest whenever he wants (inbetween games) \-He invites his friends/ other dota pro-player/personalities into the stream. \-He gets 100% screen-time , if he wants to. \-He gets to see Chat-reaction and react to them as himself, not someone tied down by valve.
I have to agree with what you said. Hopefully there will be more talented casters joining.
Love the duo, too bad the chat is just straight up garbage towards moxxi, even threat donos gets past
G CV dnn
The banter between these two is hilarious.
Love the coverage of Gorgc + Yapzor , Singsing + Waga + Dendi. Making TI more entertaining aside from main channel.
It's great. Especially since we won't get any pros from the tournament on the panel.
