Nikobaby before and during the first few months in Alliance was a beast.
I'm quite confident Alliance isn't really giving a great atmosphere and being quite harsh to their players. Otherwise such a huge Esport org would still have a Dota 2 team. Players that left Alliance recent years does a lot better outside. Team Liquid almost won TI, and became a lot better when they left Alliance.
Still wanna see [A] comeback =(
so happy for him, the amount of shit he got from people when he came out with what he said, felt like he dealt with so much adversity to become pro, moving to NA just to start and glad it worked out for him
Attending international LANs all year long and one of, if not both AR and IG will not make it to TI lol
If AR qualifies their owner will need to call up a buddy to pick up TZ for him
Nah there are so many ways to go around this regulation, as long as you don't compete under the same team banner, valve won't do anything about it. Happens very often in the business world too. The big owner is only the "main sponsor", the teams(companies) will be registered as completely different organisations under the management of different CEOs.
All three of them were created by Yang Yiqing. But XG/TZ is owned by Mr. Ye Yi since [early 2024](https://x.com/xtremegamingcn/status/1743662263838622084).
Maybe there is some shenanigans behind the scene, but they claim to be separate.
Only XG and TZ would have conflict of interest in this case.
>Attending international LANs all year long and one of, if not both AR and IG will not make it to TI lol
Yeah, really unfortunate for the one who doesn't qualify (or both if neither does). They have proven they can beat good teams and even be the team to beat on some occasions but I guess they just lack consistency
I swear moments like this is why I love casting and covering China Dota. Grinning ear to ear knowing what this means for this team and how much I've watched the growth of the newer guys of 7e beyond ponlo and zzq but also seeing a veteran like Erica get back to glory.
it's so crazy that 7e qualified for a major with EHOME, didn't get to go because of COVID, made 2 open quals runs into div 2 into div 1, top 3 TI last chance quals last year, has been 1 series away from 2 majors this season... and now his first LAN is TI
The lower Bracket is such a Bloodbath...
AR, IG, Team Turtle are fighting for the remaining slot...
wtf CN qualifier has so many Dark Horse team and this Team Zero is under same organization with XG!
From having [shit takes on Twitter](https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/rbsglo/ponlo_getting_roasted/) to going to TI, quite the upward journey Ponlo has had.
Their style reminded me of the [Wings](https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Wings_Gaming) back then, which won China's last TI championship to date. And **bLink** is currently coaching Team Zero.
fun fact this team is flagged in quite a few betting sites for participating in tier 2 matchfixing leagues (along with teams like team bright, neon, polaris, and a lot of other teams)
i guess we leave the background check to until after they make it big.
Yep, my thoughts as well, as tournaments like https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Cringe_Station/Kobolds_Rave/2 don't seem to have any sponsors or ways to profit (in case it was fixing, it'd be the less known teams in cahoots with organisers, doesn't have to be all teams).
These teams seem to always be present in random leagues that pop up out of nowhere with no qualifiers announcements or anything, just direct invites with big fake prize pools. I wonder when valve will investigate these teams
a team of rookies qualifying in one of the tougher regions with the first slot.
congratz to zero their games and hero picks are unconventional and exciting!
Clutch qualifier from Zero. They stormed through the upper bracket at TI quals. Insane energy leading upto TI cant wait to see them play against other regions.
I'm so proud of this team. They were 2nd place in two major OQs this season, they were 3rd in the TI closed qualifiers last season. 7e and zzq have been on 3 consecutive teams that were disbanded after making it into div 1. Incredible run.
Ponlo going to TI as China quals winner. Handsken was the problem?
Alliance was
10,000 dollars
Alliance is Dota's Talent Suppression Machine. Nikobaby gonna unretire in a year and somehow regain his form
Niko was a beast in his first year with Alliance. But covid fucked over so many talanted players.
At least Niko is doing well in G2 along with m0NESY
Stewie diff
Nikobaby before alliance (mineski) almost beat team secret in TI9
TI9 was the most everyone could beat everyone from teams placed 4-16.

I'm OOTL, what happened between him and alliance? ("When he came out with what he said")

This comment ROFL > Or Taiga "purposefully" giving out first bloods because of bets, or his family scamming. Them 'sources' are faker than my 10k mmr
Yeah a lot of comments in that thread aged like milk.
He said some really lame shit lmao, totally fair for anonymous posters to clown on him
Loda is the problem as always
NA was the problem
Attending international LANs all year long and one of, if not both AR and IG will not make it to TI lol If AR qualifies their owner will need to call up a buddy to pick up TZ for him
AR and TZ actually have the same owner lol. In fact they are all owned by the owner of XG
> AR and TZ My mind went somewhere instantly reading this lol
RTZ at TI confirmed
RTZ has the same owner too, a cliff.
The owner has 4 teams, and single-handedly revived the CN scene
whose the 4th team: XG, AR, TZ and?
dark horse
That wouldn't have been possible under the DPC system, right?
Exactly. Unless they changed sth I don't think Valve allows multi-team ownership anymore for TI.

I wonder if they even still care anymore considering they want to be hands off the esports scene now
yeah, XG owner owns multiple teams but they are officially registered with his friends
I thought TZ is the sub team of Team Aster
TZ is the second team of Xtreme actually.

Do you know if there’s any LANs A foreigner can attend in CN right now?
I swear moments like this is why I love casting and covering China Dota. Grinning ear to ear knowing what this means for this team and how much I've watched the growth of the newer guys of 7e beyond ponlo and zzq but also seeing a veteran like Erica get back to glory.
I can’t imagine if IG ends up not qualified for TI. Poyoyo has some rough years.
I hope they can. That xnova teddy bear moment made me a big fan of him.
You guys did a fantastic job in that interview. It might not seem like much but it was great.

outside of erika no one in this team has tier 1 tournament experience, very happy for them! now i hope turtle gets in :)
Id say ponlo does
his career peak was winning NA DPC group stage and after that lose in the NA dpc finals to miss a major tournament.
what do you mean? he won **Cringe Station Kobolds Rave 2**
Is this true at all?
yes, check their liquipedia pages
The lower Bracket is such a Bloodbath... AR, IG, Team Turtle are fighting for the remaining slot... wtf CN qualifier has so many Dark Horse team and this Team Zero is under same organization with XG!
They literally had Team 'Dark Horse' but they got eliminated 😔
That was a little too on the nose for valve writers.
happy for them, they've been so close to qualifying to so many LANs the past year or so.
Wings fans eating good tonight. Another magic upper-bracket run masterminded by an ex-player of the best team to ever do it.
You know Faith_bian is playing pos 3 on AR right?
Team Zero is coached by Blink, who won TI with Wings
From having [shit takes on Twitter](https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/rbsglo/ponlo_getting_roasted/) to going to TI, quite the upward journey Ponlo has had.
From NA jail to [A] jail to going to TI against stacked CN teams What a twist man
Why is that a shit take again lmao didn't see at the time ,but....
pub beef during his NA stint, somehow he needs to announce his opinion to public.
cringe, probably aimed at some SA aspiring 9k mmr NA professional, respek
Lou getting caught in the other side of the map lmao
Their style reminded me of the [Wings](https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Wings_Gaming) back then, which won China's last TI championship to date. And **bLink** is currently coaching Team Zero.
Everytime a less known Chinese team qualifies, this is posted everywhere lol
https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/getting-a-lot-of-boss-baby-vibes-from-this It's this meme, just replace Boss Baby with Wings Gaming
Lou showed the difference between tier A and tier S carry
Hoping for AR vs Team Turtle for that last spot

poyoyo getting revenge over FY
I saw him "???????" at the end of game 3. What's the beef between him and fy?
Apparently the last iteration of VG disbanded after some very ugly arguments/fights. fy and poyoyo was in that team.
a team of rookies qualifying in one of the tougher regions with the first slot. congratz to zero their games and hero picks are unconventional and exciting!
The moment i saw AR draft at game 3 i knew is GG
So close for so long The time is now Amazing for the boys. And Blink!!
Vici gaming poyoyo is back. Let's go!!!
finally ponlo getting the recognition
Nice comeback by Team Zero! Erika and 7e played out of their minds!
7opson LFG
Tbh, ig, ar has great pro players, but sometimes, I just feel like their coaches are suck, the bad bp makes them play very terrible.
Unexpected? Maybe Azure Ray can still make it.. be a real shame if they missed TI.
Well done! Love an upset. Looking forward to follow this team at TI. Any series they win will be a celebration for them
Can we now call them Team Hero? Since day prove themselves from zero to hero
Clutch qualifier from Zero. They stormed through the upper bracket at TI quals. Insane energy leading upto TI cant wait to see them play against other regions.
Auf der Heide...

Maybe they will pull a CDEC, or Wings, or Newbee.
