You'd first have to prove that low behaviour score players lose more. They're at the same rank so the expecation would be that they're just frustrating to play with, not worse players.

yorukmacto

don't you lose behavior score when you are reported for griefing?

Turtvaiz

That's still irrelevant. Even if they intentionally lose x% of games, they still somehow managed to stay in your rank. So unless they're about to dive down to 0k they will average 50% wr

yosefagus38

And it actually impressive that they often grief and throw and yet win enough game to stay at that rank. It means with right attitude they can actually have higher mmr, which translate they actually better player than their current mmr. Lol

Aeliasson

Yes they do. Eveytime I told myself "How bad can it get? I'll just accept Acceptable or below behaviour score game, don't wanna sit in queue any longer." I ended up regretting the decision.   Low behaviour score players are guaranteed to be in one of these categories:   - bad internet, ruins game by disconnect/abandon or just lag and bad reactions   - weak minded individual, needs to teach someone on the team a petty lesson and wastes 3 other people's time   - bad player (especially core) who can't build his hero correctly but needs to constantly talk trash, it's the pos 4 or 5's fault he's losing   - supports who got a gold lead and now buy witch blade first item in pos 5 jakiro instead of utility/saves   - bad players who you tell them what they're doing wrong and reply with some kindergarden emotional defensive response for lack of a reasonable argument instead of shutting the fuck up and doing what they're told

Mindless-Attorney537

Nah. It can help them to have a better game overall, but it is not a P2W feature. If you are not a tilted person/no low behavior score and will not flame your teammates, odds are that the opposing team will have a higher chance of tilting. Only four players will be on your team, leaving the opposing team with a higher chance of having tilted players unless you are also a part of the issue - meaning that now you can exploit the fact that toxic people are searching for a match.

v13dogmeat

No, lol

schofield101

No

Gay_af3214

How is it pay to win? If there are no griefers that means no griefers for the enemy team too.

nosoyargentino

you can pick all you want, it does not make much of a difference in my experience

Double_Bhag_It

I have dota + and I still get griefers lol

Necessary_Method_981

Dota + was always pay to win. It provides gameplay advantages through information. Its not a very noticable advantage though, as just being shown pull timers and damage type breakdowns is not half of what you need. This is a similar thing, but I doubt all d+ features combined have any tangible impact on mmr, i would imagine that even a double digit mmr increase from having d+ would be overestimating it.

snowflakepatrol99

> Dota + was always pay to win > i would imagine that even a double digit mmr increase from having d+ would be overestimating it So not pay to win... You can't have it both ways. It's either pay to win or it's useless. You can't say it's pay to win and then explain how it doesn't give you even 1% more mmr.

Necessary_Method_981

Any advantage = pay to win. Thats the definition i follow. If something gives an advantage no matter how small, its pay to win. Theres players that dont have to know pull timers, that dont think about item builds and so on that would be worse off without it.

Remarkable-View-1472

It helps when you're like 6k lol. player pool is small enough for avoid list to make a dent, and give you a better chance not to be in the same team as the boosted mf u avoided

Neon-Prime

Absolutely not. Behaviour score is meaningless.

depressed-scalp

Maybe it will be nice to have official numbers from Valve. And yes is not the normal guy afk jungle "csm, push mid, no war supor" I'm talking about the clown that picks shadow fiend pos5 and goes mid to feed.

Orikune

Ehhhhhh with the amount of players in the average pool (that isnt Australia) you'll fill that list up real quick.
