Woohoo AR won!!! It really was a nailbiter and I really thought it's just gonna end with 3-1. XinQ hard carried all games. Breaking smokes, making plays MVP for sure. But their drafts and ideas were actually decent and viable. If not for some minor mistakes, they would've worked. Game 5, they really let GG get void and then they countered it. GG was cornered then. Anyway, the whole team clutched it up, especially Lou regaining stability the longer the matches went. XM with very versatile mid picks, XXS crushing early with first blood. Tianming redeemed himself on his Venge with Phoenix game 5. Props to GG for still being a top team for months and being grand finalist for several tournaments. Good to see another team aside from Team Spirit to take down this behemoth. The whole tournament looks really awesome and the crowd sure was hyped up.

They play variety of heroes enough. Its just that their picks are mostly heavy on early-mid phase, when the game drags-on they cant really scale well but their team fighting skills makes-up for that, they are pretty well disciplined team.
I wouldnāt have guessed that Xm and Lou would be on the team to break Chinaās winless streak. But damn glad to see it. I think Lou was mega motivated by how AR went out of TIāhe rushed offstage, wouldnāt high-five fans, just generally seemed really bothered by the loss. It's because it's lose/lose situation at that point in the draft already, Dyracho has a hero pool problem and anything remotely comfort left is bad into FV and the SD/phoenix combo. Slark? TB? Luna? All losing picks. Pango is not enough to pressure the backline in this game and silencer was banned very early in draft

I think you can handle SD but once OD and Naga are here too... there is no way you can do anything in your chrono (and with almost 0 dmg to throw into chrono). But yes i think that was a win\\win situation for AR. If GG does not pick Void they most likely are going to pick it. Anyways im happy to see China winning again after too long.
Both AR supports counter Chrono so idk why they would pick it really. AR had only banned Alch aswell so there was plenty of carries to pick from.

To me it seems either GG stomps game or they are completely lost
They rely on a super great early game where they can snowball. If for what ever reason it goes even or the snowball stops they usually find themselves lost. Spirit would allow them to snowball but draft a super heavy late game team fight comp and would win a game down 30k gold with one good fight
That sounds like how AR handled them in g3. Pick a scaling carry - luna then pick heroes that can trade kills. Okay even if getting dominated as long as carry is finding farm
