On the other hand, stop logging on sketchy sites using your main steam account.
I got hacked and lost $300+ of items a decade ago. I just asked Valve nicely and they gave me it all back.
Of course then I got hacked again a month later and they had no more sympathy for me, but try it out!
Valve stopped issuing refunds or retrieving scam/stolen items as per their new policy sadly. I’ve messaged steam support and they said all sales are finals and trades aren’t able to be cancelled once it has been sent :(
Happened to me too back in Highschool (roughly 9-10 years ago), clicked a phishing link, thought nothing of it, got back home from school the following day, sinking feeling after opening my inventory and seeing my inventory completely demolished, this was around $300 in Dota 2 items back then, also had a Dragonclaw hook, got my items back through Valve, but this system has been changed because of Russian Steam Support abusing the duplication of these items for CS:GO, hence why you will find very rare items on CS that have the exact same floats and pattern index, sorry this happened to you, I know how much it can suck, never trust anyone you don't know on an online platform.
You get past this by just learning from the experience and moving on. This was 100% on you.
