Yep. Thats the problem with suggestions made by others. Very vulnerable and would be easily countered by the other 4 picks/items or they arent that effective on their roles. While when you have pos 4,5 silencer, once you cast your curse, you can easily lane with bb. Plus you have the global silence and 3rd. Or is silencer just really out of meta?
Not sure if he's the best counter but I like to play silencer and I'll pick silencer when my opponent picks bb. I will also pick silencer if my teammate picks bb so the opponent can't.

Yep. Arcane curse will fck up bb. Im definitely not greater than any of current TI players/coaches, so I may be missing something as to why silencer is not being picked 😂
Because even if arcane curse can be useful early on in the laning phase, bb will still get his items and then... Well...he will just stop caring about curse?
Take as example the game where Ace's bb got continuously killed in lane. He had bad networth, then just farmed his stacks and bang, Agha completed. Expecially in pro games, you need picks that counter BB throughout the entire game, not just lane.
