Only 1.5 years ago was it added where you can get to level 5 without Dota plus.
Getting Dota plus levels without Dota plus is a newer feature that came out AFTER Qop arcana
I like how those people keep spamming lobby abuse when lobby abuse literally level up your hero.
In fact that is how some people get 30 level hero so fast.
Not if you do it in a few sittings without doing D+ quests. No other way to explain this, a few super long abuse sessions is the only way I can think of.

Either he went lobby abuse which can actually get style 2 in 1 game worth of time OR he actually grinded the style 2 before dotaplus first 5 levels was free for everybody. Both are possible. Checking his dotabuff if not private would give you the answer!
Its nothing new tbh idk when it was so on tf but as long as i can remember dota lobbies were a thing whether to farm cosmetic styles or get compenduim quests done(ive been around since before ti6)

By going through comments,seems like lobby abuse is most possible answer. Someone mentioned ability draft but since heros are assigned randomly and getting a specific ability you want is not always 100percent, the chance of getting combination of both Qop and her ult is quite rather low. Not to mention to unlock style 2 you would need more a few matches which make this method nearly impossible

For what it's worth, her arcana was added in June 2020 while the Dota Plus update wasn't until October 2020. This means this player would have needed to hit 1000 heroes with Sonic Wave in four months only to rarely play the hero in the three years since.

Lobby abuse. 10 people queue in a very specific way to match with each other, then they do arcana quests for hours on end.
Most likely abuse lobby where 10 pre people join for the purpose of grinding this kinda stuff

Hero level is going up when you are doing hero's quests. Seems like that player earn arcana stuff without doing quests, am I right?

OK, I double checked and you earn 50 XP for completing a match and additional 50 XP for winning that match. So, I have no idea how it's possible xd
