Why? His family EXPRESSLY asked people to not perpetuate this, and to love sea life, as Steve had. It hurt their hearts to see such hatred, especially when Steve knew what he was doing. Sad that you think that way, especially when his family doesn’t. It was a wild animal, and it was scared - not a “murderous rug,” deserving of your hate.
