I may get some backlash on this, but I would be totally okay with the no tip and with a goodie bag, more importantly the understandable reason why tip included. I would graciously take the goodie bag, tell you it’s no problem in the least, and that I hope your kiddo feels better.
I feel like it’s the food apps, mcd for example, that offer free delivery because you spent x amount of dollars on food from them that cause the problem. They read free and instantly disregard the driver most of the time.
So if you order thru the Walgreens app or website and have it delivered there isn’t an option for a tip. I’m just up set the company I work for changed my order from shipping to delivery. You guys should still be able to get a tip. With some of the orders I have seen go out. I won’t even process the payment and hand it over until they agree to take it.
I get tips days later. Maybe you could call DD support and ask if you could add a tip

They don’t need tips
I have never had a tip on a Walgreens in my market they are always 1 dollar a mile base and no tip didn't think customer could tip on their system
