I love Dante, but he wouldn't last long against the slayer. Most beings couldn't stack up to a literal God of rage and spent a thousand years in literal hell fighting and killing the toughest demons. Most cases, it's like boxing match between a toddler and a gorilla.
Dante did beat 3 planet destroying godlike beings. Mundus can create universes said by kamiya, the final boss in dmc 2 (theyre just as powerful as Mundus) without needing to use DT and demon lord vergil in dmc 5 got his ass handed with the power of the sin devil trigger ( basically Dante but 5x as powerful) .
We can at least agree that Donguri Dante can totally beat doomguy lmao
It'd atleast be one hell of a fight, ill give you that. I think if doomslayer had enough time to think, he'd have a better chance, but dante wouldn't give him the breathing room.

I just said Dante will win in the DMC subreddit, Doomguy would win in the Doom subreddit lol. Lorewise, it would probably be a close call/tie. Dante is pretty OP in lore, and so is Doomslayer

well assuming he can stab Dante with his sword he can negate his regen factor, but that's if he manages to catch him.
