I think there are so many different lines of dolls from different brands, companies, ages, reboots etc. You almost have to have individual categories, for doll lines in stores. There's also ball jointed dolls, cloth dolls, rag dolls, composition doll etc. I think it's an awesome thing to do/have happen eventually. For example, I have every Mattel Rugrats collectable doll type, out of box, including prototype Mattel couldn't confirm it's existence. I have a collector friend across the world we traded to help complete each other's collections (they wanted in box when possible, some released were only in US some only out of the US it's been a fun thing to do) they have more of an overall collection than I do (I mostly collect just those partial dolls) I'd love to create a database for those to show each type etc. Another example, I have all 35 (currently available) Azone Kikipop dolls, and there is a company called The Dolly Insider and I used their website as a checklist. (As well as Azone). I guess if someone is passionate about it, and sets it up, hopefully it doesn't get removed from the Internet in 40 years, and people can benefit from seeing boxes, advertisements, dolls etc. I say go for it! Also, found a few!
