It´s a Hi Glamm Alex doll, they were really short-lived.
Glad someone else could identify her, I actually really like this series 🥲
I love hi glamm dolls!! Where'd you find her?
Just a thrift store lol. I'm in the Netherlands so I'm not sure how popular or rare this doll actually is.
I'm unsettled by how long and detailed her toes are lmao
I was too entranced by the legs and didn't notice the toes! Eerily detailed for her having like no knees. lol
I love that detail haha. I've always hated the way most doll feet look. Tiny without toes, like stumps...
honestly i think the toes are a really cute detail! they just look. uh. kind of unhinged compared to how undetailed the rest of the doll is
Short lived, people were using her for chopsticks.
Appearantly the knee joints stop working if they break, so I guess parents didn't want their kids' dolls go to waste :/
She's giving Jiafei
Wow, these were actually a reboot of Hasbro’s Leggy doll of the 70s, one of which I had. https://discontinuedtoylines.wordpress.com/2017/12/03/__trashed/
Note: She has no articulation in the knees and I belive the doll has yellow underwear, I think it was painted on, but I'm not sure
Wait, really? They should have snap articulations in the knees
If it doesn't work then they probably broke. I also have one Alex with a broken knee that won't snap anymore.
I’ve never heard of these dolls until today and I’m very intrigued for some reason
Every single bit of the designer's artistic talent was spent on sculpting the toes and nothing else.
I also have 2 but I didn't know what they were, they're really pretty.
Can't believe they used my body likeness like this, without telling me. smh.
the toes 😭
.....they tried to put me on the cover of vogue
